The infrastructure behind SmartDeFi has just been upgraded,  and it’s a big step forward.

✅ What’s changed?
We’ve launched a new backend setup that makes development faster, cleaner, and more predictable. This isn’t some makeshift setup; it's solid, scalable, and ready to support serious growth!

Everything from testing to deployment will move quicker and smoother.

We can shut down parts of the system when not in use to save costs, then bring them back online with the exact same configuration.

It sets the foundation for enterprise-grade performance across all of SmartDeFi™!


📊 Cloudflare data is looking strong, and they now control all inbound connections to SmartDeFi.com - giving us better insight, stronger security, and full visibility even where Google Analytics isn’t used.

🧱 The system’s Redis server has been running for OVER A YEAR without issues, proving the long-term stability we’re aiming to replicate across all tools and products.

Next up: backend service improvements to push performance even further!

Just this morning the NDA between FEG & SlowMist was signed by their CEO, so FEGrox will be sending them the code for cost and time (duration to complete the audit) estimations.

These are necessary steps to complete prior to expansion, we're making some great progress!

MARKETING UPDATE
Video library development

We have outlined the video library we are building for How To videos we have started creating for both FEG and SD as well as a host of Explainer videos we are developing around the technology and concepts - similar to the asset backing video.

These will be a powerful tool for onboarding new projects and further demystify how are tech works and will be a key part of our strategic approach for growth. It’s just one leg of the chair but an important one.

The production of those videos starts today! Expect frequent updates on the progress. The videos will roll out as completed.

🚧 Dev Update – Critical Patch Deployed

Quick heads up and apology for the glitchy experience last night; we were rolling out a major backend patch that’s been a long time coming.

This update massively improves how we interact with the blockchain under the hood. It replaces the old workaround setup and gives us something way more stable to build on. We’ll be keeping a close eye over the next week or two to make sure everything holds, but this patch sets the stage for smoother performance moving forward.

Also, internal testing on the bonding platform has officially started with the dev team! Once we’re confident everything’s running clean, we’ll bring in more of the core team for expanded testing just like we’ve done with every other new feature.

Appreciate the patience, this was a key step forward and puts us in a stronger spot for what’s next.

SmartDeFi.com Development Update

Frontend framework upgrade (Angular 21)
The frontend was upgraded to Angular 21. Core components were refactored to work with the latest APIs, and performance and build optimizations were applied. This improves site speed, stability, and long-term maintainability.

Wallet and contract interaction upgrade (Wagmi v3)
The Wagmi library was migrated to v3. Contract interaction logic was updated to handle breaking changes, and functionality was validated across supported wallets and networks. This improves wallet connectivity reliability and consistency.

Bonding feature implementation
The bonding feature reached final implementation. All code is locked and audited - currently connecting and testing the front end to the backend as well as the overall platform.

Security enhancements
Multiple security improvements were implemented, including fixing dependency vulnerabilities, strengthening validation, and improving access controls. These changes reduce risk and improve platform security.

Backend optimizations
Backend systems were optimized by removing legacy logic and improving critical data flows. This increases performance, stability, and maintainability.

Bonding history tab
A bonding history tab was added, allowing users to view bonding activity after a bonding event is completed.

“Activate v3 Taxes” modal
An “Activate v3 Taxes” modal was added for bonding pairs, allowing project owners to enable v3 taxes during the bonding process.
