1 and 2 : Matt Furie said through an interview with VICE that the origin and first appearance of Pepe is in a zine made in microsoft paint called playtime.

3: In a court hearing Matt furie said: Pepe first appeared in 2003 in Playtime, as a testimonial against infowars.

4 & 5 : Appearance of Playtime PEPE in Feels Good Man film.
