‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet ( peace be upon him) said: “Fasting and the Quran will intercede for a person on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say: O Lord, I kept him from his food and desires during the day; let me intercede for him. And the Quran will say: I kept him from sleeping during the night; let me intercede for him. And they will be allowed to intercede.”

Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami‘, 7329

Al-Baqarah 2:10
فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضًاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡذِبُونَ

In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.

(10) އެމީހުންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި އެވަނީ (اللّه އާއިމެދު ޝައްކާއި وَهُمْ ގެ) ބަލިމަޑުކަމެކެވެ. އަދި اللّه تعالى އެމީހުންނަށް ބަލިމަޑުކަން އިތުރުކުރައްވާށިއެވެ. އަދި އެމީހުން ދޮގުހަދާކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން އެމީހުންނަށް قِيَامَة ދުވަހުންވަނީ ވޭންދެނިވި عَذَاب އެކެވެ.

AYAH OF THE DAY ✨

Al-Infitar 82:10
وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ

But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you.


Al-Infitar 82:11
كِرَامًا كَٰتِبِينَ

Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds).


Al-Infitar 82:12
يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ

They know all that you do.

AS - SIRA’AT

“The Sirat is a bridge that will be set up over Hell – may Allah protect us from it –
over which people will pass according to their deeds.

Some will pass as fast as the blink of an eye, or as fast as lightning, or as fast as the wind, or as fast as swift horses.”

In Sahih Al-Bukhari (7439) and Muslim (183)

it is narrated from Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) in a lengthy Hadith:

“……Then the Sirat will be laid across Hell.’

We said, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the Sirat?’

He said, ‘It is a slippery bridge on which there are clamps and (hooks-like) thorns which are wide at one side and narrow at the other and have bent ends.

A plant with such thorns is found in Najd and is called Al-Sa`dan.

Some of the believers will cross the bridge as quickly as the wink of an eye, some others as quick as lightning, a strong wind, or fast horses or she-camels.

So some will be safe without any harm; some will be safe after receiving some scratches, and some will fall down into Hell (Fire).

The last person will cross by being dragged (over the bridge).”
