Al-Munafiqun 63:3
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ ثُمَّ كَفَرُواْ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا يَفۡقَهُونَ

English - Mohsin Khan/Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed, so they understand not.

Dhivehi - Abu Bakr Ibrahim Ali (Bakurube)
(3) އެއީ، އެބަހީ އެމީހުން އެ ދޮގުހަދައި، އަދި ނުބައި عَمَل ތައް ކުރަމުން އެ ދަނީ އެމީހުން ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އީމާންވެ، ދެން ކާފަރުވީ ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ. ދެންފަހެ އެމީހުންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި اللَّه ސިއްކަޖައްސަވައި، ބަންދުކުރެއްވީއެވެ. އެހެންވީމާ އެމީހުންނަކަށް ނުވިސްނޭނެއެވެ.

“Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“A person should spend an hour before bed for Allah, giving an account of his soul: what loss he suffered today and what income he gained today. Then he should renew repentance in front of Allah and fall asleep in the state of repentance. This should be done every night.”
Repentance is among the key heart softeners a servant of Allah can resort to when softening their heart and remaking their lives for the better. Sadness and loneliness in the heart is often a direct consequence of the sins a person commits. Remembering Allah, the hereafter, and death are impediments to sinning.
Imam al Shafi’i رحمه الله remarked: “There is a verse in the Quran that every wrongdoer should be terrified of.”
He was asked, “which verse is that?”
He replied: “And your Lord never forgets.” [19:64]”

Upon you is doing lots of good, so that Allah may ease your stay in the grave, and avoid all haram so that you may find the sweetness of iman.

Al-An'am 6:116
وَإِن تُطِعۡ أَكۡثَرَ مَن فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَإِنۡ هُمۡ إِلَّا يَخۡرُصُونَ

And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie.

At-Takathur 102:5
كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things)
