Umar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz said,

"Whoever improves his state for the Hereafter, Allah will improve his state in the world, and whoever improves his ties with Allah, Allah will improve his ties with others."

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:

"Know that the devil first deceived the people by diverting them from knowledge, as knowledge is light.

Thus, when their lamps are extinguished, he is able to lead them astray in the darkness."

Do not feel lonely on the path of Allah, don’t feel lonely when you’re standing by yourself on the truth. Most of the people are submerged on misguidance. Allah is there with you and Indeed He alone is sufficient for His believers. He is your supporter and protector. Likewise don’t be deceived if you are in the comfort of the majority.

And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie.

Hadith

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Masa that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) deputed any of his Companions on a mission, he would say:
Give tidings (to the people) ; do not create (in their minds) aversion (towards religion) ; show them leniency and do not be hard upon them.

Hadith

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was asked, "What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad). The questioner then asked, "What is the next (in goodness)? He replied, "To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah's Cause." The questioner again asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" He replied, "To perform Hajj (Pilgrim age to Mecca) 'Mubrur, (which is accepted by Allah and is performed with the intention of seeking Allah's pleasure only and not to show off and without committing a sin and in accordance with the traditions of the Prophet)."

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A woman was punished in Hell because of a cat which she had confined until it died. She did not give it to eat or to drink when it was confined, nor did she free it so that it might eat the vermin of the earth."
