Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Compassionate One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you.

Abdullah ibn Buraydah said:
A man from the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) travelled to Fudalah ibn Ubayd when he was in Egypt.

He came to him and said: I have not come to you to visit you. But you and I heard a tradition from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I hope you may have some knowledge of it.
He asked: What is it? He replied: So and so. He said: Why do I see you dishevelled when you are the ruler of this land?
He said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has forbidden us to indulge much in luxury.
He said: Why do I see you unshod? He replied: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to command us to go barefoot at times.

“What can my enemies do to me?

me with seclusion,
to send me into exile is to send me away in the path of Allāh,
and to kill me is to make me a martyr.”

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله

✨An-Nisa, 4:78

“Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you are in lofty towers.”

🔸Death is unavoidable and predetermined by Allah, no matter how much one may try to escape or shield themselves.

🔸It reminds believers of the importance of living a righteous life, as no one can avoid their destined time.

Ibrahim 14:12
وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنَا سُبُلَنَاۚ وَلَنَصۡبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاذَيۡتُمُونَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ

"And why should we not put our trust in Allah while He indeed has guided us our ways. And we shall certainly bear with patience all the hurt you may cause us, and in Allah (Alone) let those who trust, put their trust."

(12) އަދި އަހުރެމެން اللّه އަށް وكيل ކޮށް އިތުބާރު ނުކުރާންވީ ކީއްވެގެންހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެހެނީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އަހުރެމެންނަށް އަހުރެމެން ސަލާމަތްވާނޭ މަގުދެއްކެވީ އެކަލާނގެއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ކަލޭމެން (ކާފަރުންނާއި مشرك ންގެފަރާތުން) އަހުރެމެންނަށް ކުރާ އުނދަގޫތަކަށް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އަހުރެމެން ކެތްކުރާހުށީމެވެ. އަދި وكيل ކޮށް އިތުބާރުކުރާމީހުން ހަމައެކަނި اللّه އަށް وكيل ކޮށް ބަރޯސާކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ!

"حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُبَكِّرُ بِالْجُمُعَةِ، وَنَقِيلُ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ‏.‏"

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

We used to offer the Jumua prayer early and then have an afternoon nap.
