Allah proclaimed, if you thank Me for what I bestow and grant upon you, and praise me for it, certainly, I will give you more and increase it.
That's a rule for anything and everything, whether it be health, wealth, faith and so on. The more you thank Him, the more He gives you. The more you humble yourself before Allah, the higher Allah will upgrade you.
If you know someone, like your parents, for example, they bought you to this world, raised you when you were incapable, nurtured you throughout your life, of course, the person would seek to respect them and get to know them and be good and obedient towards them. Similarly, if anyone did you a little favour, even just saying the Salaam, it is Wajib for your reply to it. A little tiny thing goes a long way for us, like someone making you smile on a bad day, or helping you out with something you're struggling with, you would not forsake such a person or let them down.
For Allah is the highest example. Imagine Allah, the One who created you, provided you and your entire body, granted you all of the bounty, grace and love you have, even the ones you don't acknowledge! And more importantly, the precious and most expensive bounty of all, guidance.
That's why you need to constantly be thankful for everything He provided and bestowed upon you. We are incapable of thanking Allah for just even a vein in one of our fingers. Allah created us, bought us into existence, He provided for us and sheltered us, and gave us high ranking with belief in the heart. He informed us of paradise for the obedient and hellfire for the disobedient all out of love, justice and mercy towards His creation.
However much we worship Allah, we are incapable of worshipping Him in a manner that is rightly due to Him, befitting His majesty, even if we spent our entire lives in prostration!

O All-Hearing,
O All-Responding,
O All-Knowing,
O Most Merciful,
O Most Generous,
O Most Compassionate,
O Bestower of Blessings,
O Most Loving,
Grant comfort to our sisters who have recently been imprisoned in Italy, in their solitude.
Relieve them from the loneliness and darkness of their confinement.
Fortify their iman, and send tranquility upon their hearts.
Ease their burdens, smooth their affairs, and purify their hearts.
Elevate their status, and grant them contentment and Your divine pleasure.
Protect them, O Allah, with Your protection.
O Allah, let Your servants and forces, both in the heavens and on earth, work in their favor.
O Allah, free our sisters in the camps of al-Hol and al-Rouj, and our brothers and sisters in the prisons of Idlib and beyond.
O Allah, grant them all freedom, peace, and safety, and reunite them with their families.
