Al-Baqarah 2:183
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).

(183) އޭ އީމާންވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! އިސްވެދިޔަ މީސްތަކުންގެމައްޗަށްވެސް ރޯދަ فرض ކުރެވުނުފަދައިން ކަލޭމެންގެމައްޗަށްވެސް ރޯދަ فرض ކުރެވިއްޖެއެވެ. އެއީ ކަލޭމެން تقوى ވެރިވުމަށެވެ.

Al-Baqarah 2:2
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيۡبَۛ فِيهِۛ هُدًى لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ
This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].

(2) މިފޮތް (އެބަހީ: މިقرآن) ދަންނައެވެ. މިފޮތާއިމެދު އެއްވެސް ޝައްކެއްނެތެވެ. އެއީ تقوى ވެރިންނަށްވާ ތެދުމަގެކެވެ. (އެހެންބަޔަކަށްނޫނެވެ. އަދި تقوى ވެރިނޫން މީހުންނަށް މިފޮތަކީ ބިރުވެރި ފޮތެއްކަމުގައި ވާނެއެވެ.)
• تقوىވެރިވުމަކީ: ބިރުވެތިވުމެވެ. اللّه ގެ ކޯފާއާއި عَذَاب އަށް ބިރުގަތުމެވެ. އެކަމުން ރައްކާތެރިވުމެވެ. تقوى ވެރިކަން حاصل ވަނީ اللّه حَرَام ކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކުން ރައްކާތެރިވެ އެކަންކަން ނުކުރުމުންނާއި އަދި އެކަލާނގެ فَرْض ކުރެއްވި ކަންތައް އަދާކުރުމުންނެވެ.

Az-Zumar 39:14
قُلِ ٱللَّهَ أَعۡبُدُ مُخۡلِصًا لَّهُۥ دِينِى

English - Mohsin Khan/Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
Say (O Muhammad SAW) "Allah Alone I worship by doing religious deeds sincerely for His sake only and not to show-off, and not to set up rivals with Him in worship."

(14) (އޭ رَسُوْلُ الله އެވެ!) ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ. "އަހުރެން އަޅުކަންކުރާނީ ހަމަ ﷲ އަށެވެ. އެއީ އަހުރެންގެ އަޅުކަން އެކަލާނގެއަށް خَلاَص ކޮށްގެންވާ ޙާލުގައެވެ. އެއްވެސް شِرْك އެއް رِبَا އެއްނުލައެވެ.) "

Secrets with Allah
For this Ramadhaan, plan and make your deeds secret and establish a secretive relationship with Allah. Worship no one knows but you and Allah, sincerely for the sake of Allah. Keep it hidden, Salah, prayer, Zakah, reciting of the Qur'an, Taraweeh, charity, knowledge or Da'wah. You yourself try to forget it, Wallahi you are going to reminded of it on the Judgment Day, Wallahil-'Adheem you are going to see its affect in this life. If you are inflicted with a hardship years and years later, raise your hands to Allah and say Yaa Allah I got up every single night of Ramadhaan, no one knew that but me and You. If I did that sincerely for Your sake and Your sake alone, then grant me riddance of this trouble and trial that I am facing.
