إِنتصف شهر رمضان
Half of ramadan has passed.
Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:
قَدْ ذَهَبَ نِصْفُ الْبِضَاعَةِ فِي التَّفْرِيطِ وَالإِضَاعَةِ، وَالتَّسْوِيفُ يَمْحَقُ سَاعَةً بَعْدَ سَاعَةٍ، وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بحسبان {شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن} .
Half of the opportunity has been lost due to negligence and waste,
And procrastination destroys time, hour after hour.
The sun and the moon move in precise measure:
شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن
The month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed.
Al-Baqarah, Ayah 185
يَا وَاقِفًا فِي مَقَامِ التَّحَيُّرِ هَلْ أَنْتَ عَلَى عَزْمِ التَّغَيُّرِ؟ إِلَى مَتَى تَرْضَى بِالنُّزُولِ فِي مَنْزِلِ الْهَوَانِ.
O one standing in a state of confusion,
Are you determined to change?
How long will you be content to remain in humiliation?

Seize The Opportunity Of Ramaḍān
Shaykh Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyá al-Najmī Raḥimahullāh said: "O servants of Allāh adhere to the fasting of the month of Ramaḍān and standing in prayer during its nights. Seize this opportunity because it may be that it does not come you again as death may take you before the next Ramaḍān comes.
