🌆 Sign of Laylatul Qadr

Laylat al-Qadr may be seen with the eye, for the one whom Allaah helps to see it. That is by seeing its sign. The Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them) used to recognize it by its sign.

But not seeing them does not means that one will not gain its reward, if one spends that night in prayer out of faith and the hope of reward.

The Muslim should strive to seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadaan, as enjoined by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), hoping to earn reward. If it so happens that a person spends this night in prayer out of faith and seeking reward, then he will gain its reward, even if he does not know that that was Laylat al-Qadr. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever spends the night of Laylat al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and seeking reward, all his previous sins will be forgiven.”

Islamqa.info Fatwa no: 21905 (slightly paraphrased)

Ahlus-Sunnah tg channel:

🔸🔸Al-Muhaddith Abû ‘Alî al-Hasanî mentioned the only authentic sign for Laylatul-Qadr is on that day the sun would rise without having any rays in it. [which comes from a narration in sahîh Muslim]🔸🔸

As for the night being bright, not hot and not cold, no clouds, no rain, no winds, no shooting stars, the stars being clear, the sky being clear, the dogs not barking, then the muhaddith said there is nothing authentic concerning them.

To anyone reading this, know that your sisters in Camp Roj are going through so much harassment, our little amount of money is being stolen from every tent the Kurdish PKK enter along with jewelry. Our food for ramadaan is being tossed on the floor & we are not even left alone during suhoor or iftaar. Not to mention they've entered upon your sisters while they take showers and forcefully take pictures of them and video tape them naked!!!

They want us to start riots to prove to the world we are "dangerous" to prolong their narrative.

To Allah we seek aid and help...

We are making this apparently so the Muslims know our situations in the camps.

Haven't been online because of all that's happened.

The Jannah continues to decorate itself for us. The mercy of Allah continues to descend upon us and it is important for one to snap out of it, to wake up and to take off. It is from the mercy of Allah سبحانه و تعالى that He made the best days of Ramadan the final ten days. These are days you take from your physical rest to nourish your spiritual needs. You take from your physical rest to give your spirit its rest.

🍃The Virtue of Praying Tarāwīh behind the Imām

At-Tirmithī reported from the way of Hannād, from Muḥammad Ibn Fudayl, from Dāwūd Ibn Abī Hind, from Al-Walīd ibn 'Abdur-Rahmān, from Jubayr Ibn Nufayr who reported from Abū Dharr who narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:

«مَنْ قَامَ مَعَ الإِمَامِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ كُتِبَ لَهُ قِيَامُ لَيْلَةٍ»
Whoever stands in prayer (Tarāwīh) with the Imām until he departs will have written for him the standing of the whole night (meaning in prayer; Qiyām-ul-Layl).

🔸In the Sharh of Bulūgh al-Marām, under 649th Hadīth, Shaykh Al-Muhaddith al-'Alwān said: this chain is Hassan.

🔸He also said in the Sharh of Sunan at-Tirmithī: this was reported by Abū Dāwūd with a strong chain (what this means is to pray behind the Imām till he has finished, and when he prays Witr, to pray that too with him. And for the one who intends to pray more in the night, they can pray in 2 units, and brought dalīl for this*)

🔸As-Shaykh, Al-Muhaddith 'Abdul 'Azīz ibn Ibrāhīm al-Khudayr said:
The chain is Hassan and this has been declared so by at-Tirmithī, Ibn Jārūd, Ibn Khuzaymah, Ibn Hibbān and even At-Tūsī.

🔸As-Shaykh Al-Muhaddith 'Abdullah As-Sa'd said:
The Hadīth is Sahīh.

🔸As-Shaykh, Al-Muhaddith Mustafah al-'Adawi said: it is Sahīh.

*At-Tirmidhi (may Allāh have mercy on him) said:

The scholars differed concerning the one who prays Witr at the beginning of the night then prays qiyām at the end of the night…

Some of the scholars among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ and others said: If he prays Witr at the beginning of the night, then sleeps, then gets up at the end of the night, he may offer whatever prayers he likes, but he should leave his Witr as it was. This is the view of Sufyān ath-Thawri, Mālik ibn Anas, Ibn al-Mubārak, ash-Shāfa‘i, the scholars of Kūfah, and Ahmad.

This is more correct, because it was narrated via more than one isnād that the Prophet ﷺ prayed after Witr.

In his series on Qiyām-ul-Layl, Shaykh Abū Ubādah Harīth ash-Shiraida حفظه الله explains the strangeness of the same Hadīth (of praying behind the Imām), yet as you can see from the above, the scholars quoted do accept that Hadīth.

And he (Abū Ubādah) also mentions in the second part of this series that the best time is at the last portion of the night. These are differences of opinion among the scholars, do your research and act according to what seems to be more according to the Qur'ān and Sunnah.

And Allāh ta'ālā knows best.

May Allāh have mercy on our ulamah and our students of knowledge and preserve them. May Allāh guide us.
