قال ابن مفلح الحنبلي رحمه الله :

"لا يَحزُنك قولُ الناس فيك ، فإن كان كاذباً ، كانت حسنةً لم تعملها ، وإن كان صادقاً ، كانت سيئةً عُجِّلَت عقوبَتُها!".

📖 Ibn Al-Qayyim stated:

والله ما خوفي الذنوبَ فإنها**
لعلى طريقِ العفوِ والغفرانِ
By Allah, my fear is not of sins, for they** Are on the path of pardon and forgiveness.

لكنما أخشى انسلاخَ القلبِ من**
تحكيمِ هذا الوحيِ والقرآنِ
But rather, I dread the heart's detachment from**
The governance of this revelation and the Quran.

ورضا بآراءِ الرجالِ وخرصِهَا**
لا كان ذاك بمنَّةِ الرحمنِ
And contentment with the opinions of men and their assumptions,**
May that never be by the grace of the Merciful.
