A total of 45 cases of acute flaccid paralysis were recorded during June and July 2025, an unprecedented surge in such cases.
With the absence of diagnostic capabilities, these cases may either be polio or Guillain-Barré syndrome.
This alarming trend is linked to the catastrophic environmental and health conditions in Gaza, including water contamination, the collapse of sanitation services, waste accumulation, the spread of infectious diseases, malnutrition, and weakened immunity

Political interests means nothing when it goes against our religious interests. Deen before anything. Blood of our brothers and sisters are sacred whether he or she is from al Shaam or Hindh. But Modi supports spilling both. He is an oppressor like Netanyahu.

Alhamdulillah, it seems that some of the bottles filled with food that our Egyptian brothers & sisters threw into the sea have reached Gaza.

I knew a man who expressed disgust at the living conditions of a family poorer than him, and later his Rizq was so restricted that he felt he was barely making it by and struggling to provide adequately for his family.
I knew a woman who used to mock and look down upon the tens of good marriage proposals she received when she was young, thinking she deserved better, and now she’s old and single, desperately praying for someone who’s even half of what those proposals were.
I knew a lady who got her kid married but showed dislike when others mentioned grandkids, claiming her child is not of age to even consider children. Time passed and that same child of hers became distressed due to inability to conceive despite their youth, and the mother became concerned and began to pray for what she once disliked to hear of.
I knew a woman who aborted her last male child, saying she already has one son and many daughters, and that’s enough and she wants no more. Time passed and her only son became so insane that they had to chain him up in a locked room, and she was forced to live life as if she never had a son to begin with.
I haven’t lived a very long life, but I’ve seen enough to know that those who scoff at Allāh’s blessing and diminish their value will be taught a lesson in this life. Those who don’t humbly praise and thank Allāh for what He gives will be tested by the lack of it or be deprived. Arrogance will be humbled by Allāh سبحانه وتعالى, and we seek refuge in Him from being denied blessings due to our own haughtiness over them.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“If the good thoughts motivate one to do good actions, encourage an individual to do them and lead a person to them, then it is sound and good. But if these same thoughts lead a person to idleness and a devotion to sins, then it is in fact deception.
Having good thoughts is also the correct method of hope. So whoever's hope attracts them to obedience and deters them from sin, then it is the correct hope.
However, whoever has confused the two and made his lack of good actions to be a form of hope to the extent his hope amounts to nothing more than idleness and neglect, then he is deluded.”
[The Disease & The Cure | Pg. 95]

“A sign of heedlessness among Muslims in this era is the wasting of time and in allowing seasons to pass by without building anything of value or drawing lessons from them. Anniversaries pass without reflection, and events unfold without contemplation. People pay no attention to the passing days and months, nor learn from the swift passage of years and ages. Neglect has taken over, slumber has grown long, and hearts have hardened-they are like stones, and maybe even harder.”
