Six Months to go till Ramaḍān Bi-idhnillāh

◽️It is reported that Muʿlā b. Al-Faḍl رحمه الله said:

They (the Salaf) used to supplicate to Allāh for six months asking Him to get them to the month of Ramaḍān; and they used to supplicate for six months that Allāh accept [their fasting and other worship in Ramaḍān].

—Abul-Qāsim Al-Aṣbahānī, Al-Targhīb wa Al-Tarhīb article 1761

◽️‘Amr Ibn Qays رحمه الله said:

“Glad tidings to the one who rectifies himself before Ramaḍān”

In Islam, sovereignty belongs to Allah alone — not to the people. Democracy, built on the rule “by the people, for the people,” is a system of disbelief (kufr). It replaces Divine Law with man-made laws and makes humans the ultimate authority, which directly contradicts Tawheed. Only Allah is the true Judge and Lawgiver, and His Laws alone must be followed.

Those in power who promote democracy lead people into corruption, disbelief, and moral decay. Whether Republican or Democrat, it’s the same system — two sides of the same coin. democracy offers no real solutions, only paths that distance people from Divine Guidance.

Supporting democracy in any form — adopting it, promoting it, voting in its elections — is a form of kufr. Its history is filled with oppression and deceit. Even when it appears noble, know with certainty its consequences include destruction, especially for Muslims.

Those who encourage participation in democratic elections often fail to grasp the extent of the harm their actions can cause. Consider how a Muslim country was invaded under false pretenses — the public was misled through lies and deception to justify war. Fabricated narratives were used to blind the masses, allowing atrocities to be committed against millions of innocent people.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًۭا

And when it is said to them: “Come to what Allah has sent down and to the Messenger (Muhammad),” you see the hypocrites turn away from you with stubbornness and aversion. (4:61)

Hadith

"حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏"‏ مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ النَّاسِ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ اسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا، فَجَعَلَ الْفَرَاشُ وَهَذِهِ الدَّوَابُّ تَقَعُ فِي النَّارِ ‏"‌‏.‏ وَقَالَ ‏"‏ كَانَتِ امْرَأَتَانِ مَعَهُمَا ابْنَاهُمَا جَاءَ الذِّئْبُ فَذَهَبَ بِابْنِ إِحْدَاهُمَا، فَقَالَتْ صَاحِبَتُهَا إِنَّمَا ذَهَبَ بِابْنِكِ‏.‏ وَقَالَتِ الأُخْرَى إِنَّمَا ذَهَبَ بِابْنِكِ‏.‏ فَتَحَاكَمَتَا إِلَى دَاوُدَ، فَقَضَى بِهِ لِلْكُبْرَى فَخَرَجَتَا عَلَى سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ فَأَخْبَرَتَاهُ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ائْتُونِي بِالسِّكِّينِ أَشُقُّهُ بَيْنَهُمَا‏.‏ فَقَالَتِ الصُّغْرَى لاَ تَفْعَلْ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ، هُوَ ابْنُهَا‏.‏ فَقَضَى بِهِ لِلصُّغْرَى ‏"‌‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَاللَّهِ إِنْ سَمِعْتُ بِالسِّكِّينِ إِلاَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ، وَمَا كُنَّا نَقُولُ إِلاَّ الْمُدْيَةُ‏.‏"

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "My example and the example o the people is like that of a person who lit a fire and let the moths, butterflies and these insects fall in it." He also said, "There were two women, each of whom had a child with her. A wolf came and took away the child of one of them, whereupon the other said, 'It has taken your child.' The first said, 'But it has taken your child.' So they both carried the case before David who judged that the living child be given to the elder lady. So both of them went to Solomon bin David and informed him (of the case). He said, 'Bring me a knife so as to cut the child into two pieces and distribute it between them.' The younger lady said, 'May Allah be merciful to you! Don't do that, for it is her (i.e. the other lady's) child.' So he gave the child to the younger lady."
