May Allah grant thabāt to the Imām of thabāt and ṣabr in our time, Walīd al-Sinānī, and hasten his release.
From prison, he courageously referred to his former companion, their Grand Mufti المفتي العام, as المفتري العام — the infamous fabricator and distorter of truth.

“Have they not traveled through the land,”
Ibn Abi Ad-Dunyā said in his book At-Tafakkur wal-I’tibār, “Some of the wise people said, ‘Give life to your heart with lessons, illuminate it with thought, kill it with asceticism, strengthen it with certain faith, remind it of its morality, make it aware of the calamities of this world, warn it of the disasters that life may bring, show it how things may suddenly change with the passing of days, tell it the stories of the people of the past, and remind it what happened to those who came before.’”
Walk through their ruins, see what they did and what became of them, meaning, look at the punishments and divine wrath that struck the nations of the past who belied.

O you who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) the Day that Allah will not disgrace the Prophet (Muhammad SAW) and those who believe with him, their Light will run forward before them and with (their Records Books of deeds) in their right hands they will say: "Our Lord! Keep perfect our Light for us [and do not put it off till we cross over the Sirat (a slippery bridge over the Hell) safely] and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: He who blesses me once, Allah would bless him ten times.
[Sahih Muslim, 408]
"Indeed, Allāh showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allāh’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace."
[Al-Ahzab: 56]

A group of young men from Quraysh entered upon ʿĀʾishah while she was in Minā, and they were laughing.
She asked: "What makes you laugh?"
They replied: "So-and-so stumbled upon a tent rope and almost lost his neck or his eye."
She said: "Do not laugh, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
'There is no Muslim who is afflicted by a thorn or anything greater than it, except that a rank (in paradise) is written for him because of it, and a sin is erased from him because of it.' "
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2572)
Al-Nawawī said: "In it is the prohibition of laughing at things like this, unless it is an overwhelming reaction that cannot be suppressed. As for deliberately doing it, that is condemned, because it involves rejoicing at the misfortune of a Muslim and breaking his heart."

❝ It is not permissible for a person to ask from people (for money and charity) when he possesses what is sufficient to sustain him. This is considered one of the major sins. Texts have been transmitted that include a severe warning and condemnation for those who do this.
Among these texts is one found in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, narrated by Abū Hurayrah, who said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever asks people for their wealth in order to increase his own (or for the sake of accumulation), he is only asking for live coals; so let him take a little or a lot." ❞
— Al-Shaykh Al-Muḥaddith ʿAbdullah Al-Saʿd (text)
~ Galandān
----------------
"A man keeps on asking others for something till he comes on the Day of Resurrection without any piece of flesh on his face."
Al-Nawawī commenting on the ḥadīth stated: “Al-Qāḍī said: It was said: The meaning (of the punishment, such as having no flesh on the face) is that: he will come on the Day of Resurrection humiliated and degraded, with no honor before Allah. It was also said: It should be taken literally, that he will be resurrected with his face being bone without flesh as a punishment and a mark identifying his sin, since he sought and begged with his face (dignity). This is similar to other narrations which mention punishments for the limbs that were used to commit the sins. This (severe warning) applies to anyone who asks ⌜from people⌝ without necessity, engaging in the forbidden type of begging and doing it excessively, as stated in the other narration: "Whoever asks in order to increase..." And Allah knows best.” — End quote. (source)
