“Do not get the perception that slander and backbiting is only by tongues and lips. It could be by a wink or a gesture, and it only gets worse on Twitter, Facebook and internet forums. Does that count? Yes that does count. Someone might say “but I was disguised by the screen and nobody knew”.

Beware of The Day where we will all stand before Allāh and answer for every word that left our lips. Allāh سبحانه وتعالى may forgive us for what’s between us and Him, but what’s between us and the believers will only be forgiven by those who we wronged. May Allāh allow us to either speak good beneficial words or remain silent.

Abu Haatim Ar-Raazee said :

"The sign of Ahlul Bid’ah (the people of innovation) is that they attack those who cling to the narrations."

How naive we are, to feel proud of fooling the masses, when He has asked us directly:

“Does he not know that الله sees?”
[Qur’an 96:14]

‎Abu Idris Al-Khawlānī رحمه الله stated:

‎"A clean heart in filthy clothing is (far) better than a filthy heart in clean clothing."

Don’t you see the one who falsely thinks himself to be great (always) wants to support every single thing he has said, even if it were a mistake?

‎Ibn Qudamah رحمه الله said:

‎“The believer is a prisoner in this world, striving to ransom himself (from Hell),

‎and nothing will make him feel secure until he meets Allah.”

Imam Ahmad, "Umm Saleh lived with me 30 for years. We never had a single disagreement!"

-When my mother passed away (rahimaha Allah), my father wrote in his condolence to me, the hadith:

"If a woman prays her five (daily prayers), fasts her month (Ramadaan), guards her chastity and obeys her husband, it will be said to her: Enter Paradise by whichever of the gates of Paradise you wish.”

My father said, "Allah is my witness she did that and more. For the fifty years I was with your mother she never disagreed with me.
I lived pleased with your mother, and Allah is my witness she died while i was pleased with her, may Allah be pleased with her."

May Allah raise her rank to ferdous, and grant my father a long life full of deeds.

May Allah delight your hearts, and bring coolness to your eyes with spouses like that.
