"It goes like this: the one who takes drugs is called a druggie, the one who gambles is called a gambler, the one who plays games is called a player, the one who does Zina' is called a Zani, the one who deals in Riba' is called a Riba' consumer (Sooth Khor), the one who gives bribes is called a briber, the one who does Bid'ah is a Mubtadi', the one who does Fisq is a Faasiq, but the one who does Shirk is a Muslim?! The one who does Kufr is a Muslim?!
No! The one who does Shirk is a Mushrik! The one who does Kufr is a Kaafir!"

Al-Qiyamah 75:36
Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allah) on him]?

Al-Infitar - 82:16
And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell).
English - Ibn Kathir
And they will not be absent therefrom.
meaning, they will not be absent for even one hour from the torment. The torment will not be lightened from them, nor will they be granted the death that they will be requesting, or any rest -- not even for a single day.
Allah then says,

Is not He (better than your gods) Who guides you in the darkness of the land and the sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain)? Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? High Exalted be Allah above all that they associate as partners (to Him)!
