ʿAmr ibn Qays (رحمه الله) said:

An-Nas 114:4
مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ
"From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah),
ފިލައިހުރެ ވަސްވާސްދޭ شيطان އާގެ ނުބައިކަމުންނެވެ. (އެބަހީ: شيطان އާގެ ނުބައިކަމުން އެކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގަންނަަމެވެ.)

Ibn Battah رحمه الله stated:
"Whoever has heard the truth and rejects it after knowing it, he is from those who are arrogant towards Allāh, aids wrong-doing and he is from the party of Shaytān."

In the belly of trials, let your greatest motivation for Sabr be the oath you took to cling to it when difficulties first swallowed you:
سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
“You will find me, if Allah wills, of the patient [ones]."
Prove yourself to Allāh.
At the start of affliction, raise your hands to Allāh and say “I swear by Your Might, O Rabb, You’re going to find me amongst the patient. I swear by Your Honor, no one will hear my complaints except You.” and watch how Allāh aids you and pours upon you patience.
