AYAT OF THE DAY ☄️

Al-Hajj 22:31

Hunafa' Lillah (i.e. to worship none but Allah), not associating partners (in worship, etc.) unto Him and whoever assigns partners to Allah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky, and the birds had snatched him, or the wind had thrown him to a far off place.

I think one of the whispers of shaytan to make the hijab/niqab difficult to wear is by making it seem like the struggle has to do with other people (what would people do/say.)

The only struggle is with your nafs. Once you overcome that, it becomes easy. Same with any act of worship, once you recognize it’s only for Allah it becomes easy. After all, we were created to worship Him.

Al-Ahqaf 46:28

Then why did those whom they had taken for aliha (gods) besides Allah, as a way of approach (to Allah) not help them? Nay, but they vanished completely from them (when there came the torment). And that was their lie, and their inventions which they had been inventing (before their destruction).

Ibn Qudamah رحمه الله said:

“Know that a person floating on a piece of wood in the ocean is not in more need of Allah and His mercy, than a person in his home, sitting between his family and property. When this meaning becomes ingrained in your heart, then rely on Allah like a drowning person who doesn’t know of any other means to salvation but Allah.”
