Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Time will pass rapidly, good deeds will decrease, miserliness will be thrown (in the hearts of the people) afflictions will appear and there will be much 'Al-Harj." They said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ! What is "Al-Harj?" He said, "Killing! Killing!"

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Avoid the seven great destructive sins." They (the people!) asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ! What are they?" He said, "To join partners in worship with Allah; to practice sorcery; to kill the life which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause (according to Islamic law); to eat up usury (Riba), to eat up the property of an orphan; to give one's back to the enemy and fleeing from the battle-field at the time of fighting and to accuse chaste women who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers."

At-Talaq 65:8
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ عَتَتۡ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِۦ فَحَاسَبۡنَٰهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيدًا وَعَذَّبۡنَٰهَا عَذَابًا نُّكۡرًا

And many a town (population) revolted against the Command of its Lord and His Messengers, and We called it to a severe account (i.e. torment in this worldly life), and shall punish it with a horrible torment (in Hell, in the Hereafter).


އެ ރަށްރަށުގެ أهل ވެރިން އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ أمر ފުޅަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول ންނަށް ނުކިޔަމަންތެރިވީ ކިތައްކިތައް ރަށްހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނާ މެދުގައި ގަދަވެގެންވާ حساب އަކުން حساب ބައްލަވައި، ބިރުވެރި عذاب އަކުން، އެއުރެންނަށް عذاب ދެއްވީމެވެ.
