At-Taubah 9:38
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَا لَكُمۡ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ ٱنفِرُواْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱثَّاقَلۡتُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا مِنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ فَمَا مَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا فِى ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ

O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allah (i.e. Jihad) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.


Divehi - Abu Bakr Ibrahim Ali (Bakurube)
(38) އޭ إيمان ވެގެންވާ މީހުންނޭވެ. اللّه ގެ މަގުގައި ހަނގުރާމަޔަށް ނުކުންނާށޭ ކަލޭމެނަށް ބުނެވިއްޖެއްޔާ ބިމަށް ބަރުހެލިވެފައި ނުނުކުންނަން ތިބެވެނީ ކަލޭމެނަށް ކީއްވެގެންހެއްޔެވެ؟ ކޮންސަބަބަކާ ހެދިހެއްޔެވެ؟ آخرة ގެ ރަނގަޅު ދިރިއުޅުމަށްވުރެ ދުނިޔޭގެ މިދިރިއުޅުމަށް ކަލޭމެން ރުހުނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ آخرة ގެ حياة ގެ نِسْبَةُ ގައި ދުނިޔޭގެ މި حياة އަކީ ދާދި ކުޑަކުޑަ އަރާމުކޮޅަކާ މަޖާކޮޅެއްކަމުގައި މެނުވީ ނުވެއެވެ.

Al-Kawthar 108:2
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَٱنۡحَرۡ

Therefore turn in prayer to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him only).

(2) ފަހެ ކަލޭގެފާނުންގެ رب އަށް ކަލޭގެފާނުން ނަމާދުފުޅު ކުރަށްވާށެވެ. އަދި قُرْبَان ކުރައްވާށެވެ.

Al-A'la - 87:7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ

Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden.

(7) އެކަމަކު ހަނދުމަފުޅު ނެތޭނީ ހަނދުމަފުޅުނެތުމަށް އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރެއްވި އެއްޗެކެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން ބޭރު ފުށަށް ފާޅުވާ ތަކެއްޗާއި އަދި ވަންހަނާގައި ވާ ތަކެތިވެސް އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

AYAT OF THE DAY 🕊️

Ar-Rum 30:37
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

Do they not see that Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who believe.

(37) އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން اللّه އެކަލާނގެ އެދިވޮޑިގެންނެވި ފަރާތަކަށް ރިޒުގުތަނަވަސްކުރައްވައި އަދި އެދިވޮޑިގެންނެވި ފަރާތަކަށް ރިޒުގު ދަތިކުރައްވައި މަދުކުރައްވާކަން އެމީހުން ފަހެ ނުދެކެނީބާވައެވެ؟ ނޭނގެނީބާވައެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން އެކަންކަމުގައިވެސް އީމާންވާ ބަޔަކަށް (اللّه ގެ އެއްކައުވަންތަކަމާއި قدرة ތެރިކަމުގެ) ދަލީލުތައްވެއެވެ.

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“The five heart corrupters are: Excessive socialising, wishful thinking, attachment to others besides Allah, eating to ones fill, and sleep.”

As-Sajdah 32:18
‎أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤۡمِنًا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقًاۚ لَّا يَسۡتَوُۥنَ

Is then he who is a believer like him who is Fasiq (disbeliever and disobedient to Allah)? Not equal are they.

‎(18) އަޅެފަހެ މުއުމިނު މީހެއްކަމުގައިވީމީހާއާއި ނުބައި ނުލަފާ فَاسِقُ އަކު ކަމުގައިވީމީހާއާއި ދެމީހުން އެއްވަރުވާނޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެފަދަމީހުން އެއްވަރެއްނުވާނެއެވެ.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله on the Origin of Diseases, Calamities and
Hardships

Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
"For Allah, the Sublime, with His wisdom (hikmah) and justice (adl) makes the (consequences) of the actions of the servants to appear to them in forms (süwar) that are appropriate to (their actions). So sometimes it is in the form of a drought or barrenness (of land). Other times it is by way of an enemy. Other times by way of tyrannical rulers. Other times by way of general diseases. Other times it is by anxiety, grief and worry that (settle and) reside in their souls and do not leave them. Other times it is by preventing the blessings from the sky and the Earth from them. Other times it is by unleashing the devils upon them to incite them to the causes of their destruction, so that His word can be established upon them and so that each of them arrives at the outcome destined for him. The intelligent (agil) traverses with his insight (basirah) in all regions of the world and witnesses this, and he sees the occurrence (of these instances) of Allah's justice and wisdom taking place."

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ❁ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
