Seeking forgiveness from those you have wronged:
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله:
“Whoever has wronged his brother with regard to his blood, his wealth or his honour, let him come and set matters straight before there comes a Day on which there will be no dirhams and no dinars, only good deeds and bad deeds, and if he has good deeds (they will be taken and given to the one whom he wronged), otherwise some of the bad deeds of the one whom he wronged will be taken and added to his burden, then he will be thrown into the Fire.”

O’ Allah surround me with righteous companions who are more knowledgeable, so that I may benefit from them.
O’ Allah distance me from those You are not pleased with, so that my character and deeds may not be corrupted by them.

The Week Before Ramadhān
| Shaykh Ahmad Jibril
“The week before Ramadhān is the most crucial week probably... the Shaytān is gonna be shackled... You know what he’s gonna do in this week? When someone’s going to jail and he’s bad, he’s gonna do all the worst things he can imagine, before he goes.”
— Shaykh AMJ
Before Ramadhān comes, do your best to repent from all sins, clean your heart from all grudges towards Muslims, end all disputes and arguments with people, and cut off from everything that will distract you and take away from your focus and worship in the precious moments of Ramadhān. Purify yourself and your surroundings now, so that you can enter Ramadhān in a high and good state of īmān, and reap its rewards and blessings more than ever, in shā Allāh.

True story
If you listen to MUSIC, READ for the sake of الله
I am a 21 year old guy, my friend died in a car accident a few months ago
Allah yarhamou. He had good manners and there was no one who didn’t love him.
Everyone was suprised from his death. All we can say is Alhamdullilah. A few weeks after his death i had nightmares. Nightmares where he is being tortured. I woke up every night horrified from what i saw. I didn’t believe why this was happening to him. I swear by Allah that everyone bears witness to his good manners, no one ever saw anything bad from him. The nightmares became more often it was like he was asking for help! The hideous image of him being tortured was stuck in my mind. A sadeed (thin liquid mixed with blood) came out of his ears and mouth and under his nails. I will never forget that image.
I swear to the Creator of the heavens and Earth that his screams weren't normal at all.
I started giving sadaqah Jariyah for him. And made dua for him during the adthan. But whatever i did the nightmares wouldnt disappear.
I hated sleeping and abandoned it. I couldnt do anything besides making dua. Two days later i had another dream where 2 person with big bodies dragged him and were pouring sadeed in his ear. They took a melted iron and poured it in his ear while he was screaming. He had pain in his voice. Finally i spoke to him in my dream and asked him, Why are they doing this to you? When you were respecting your parents and keeping your prayers. What kind of sin did you make?
He spoke to me and said
MUSIC MY BROTHER MUSIC!
After i died and Allah put me in the grave i have been torturing. A hole of hell because of music and sins jariyah. I have never saw a day of relief. WAllah not a day because of music. The angels have been torturing me!
Then they dragged him again i had these images in my head. I asked myself what he means by sins jariyah? Then I remembered that he had an instagram account where he would post songs with music, it broke my heart of how huge the followers and likes were.
They didnt know that he was dead. Thats what he meant by sins Jariyah. Every single person who listens to it he gains the sin for it. I felt like it was my fault that I didn't know about this sin i kept looking for a solution. I didnt know his personal password or email. I kept searching for ways until Alhamudlilah Allah guided me and i found a hacker, i called him and told him about my situation. He erased everything and deleted his account.
Finally after a long time i felt relief and could sleep. I will never forget those images. I stopped listening to music, i hated mentioning music.
This all showed me that this world is just a test. From Allah to His servant and Allah guided me and you!

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله listed a few consequences of sinning/disobeying Allāh:
• Lack of success
• Corrupt views
• Blindness from truth
• Corruption of the heart
• Failing to remember Allāh
• Wasting of time
• Avoidance and hate by the creation
• Separation between the servant and his Lord
• Supplication not being answered
• Hardness of the heart
• Decaying of blessing in provision and age
• Prevention from attaining knowledge
• Humiliation
• Insults from the enemies
• Constriction of the chest
• Affliction with evil friendship, those who corrupt the heart and make one waste the time
• Prolonging of sadness and grief
• Miserable life
• and Disappointment
All this results from sinning and and neglecting to remember Allāh, just as crops are grown by being watered and are consumed by fire.
