"- What's this?
-It's a leg!"

Over 30 bodies, executed by Israeli soldiers at point blank range handcuffed and blindfolded, have been discovered inside Hamad school in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza, following the Israeli military's partial withdrawal from the area.

Residents accidentally found the decomposing corpses in a pile of dirt.

It is important to be cautious regarding a growing trend of overlaying text on or above the name of Allah for aesthetic purposes. The position for the Almighty’s name is always at the forefront. It should be paramount. Making it secondary by placing the name of Allah beneath texts, or placing texts above it or on top of it is completely disrespectful. Whether it is on the Mushaf, inscribed verses, or any other context including digital formats, it signifies disrespect and is haram. The Quran is the word of Allah, it requires utmost respect and should invariably be given prominence, ensuring its revered status is maintained.

And if anyone of the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) seeks your protection then grant him protection, so that he may hear the Word of Allah (the Quran), and then escort him to where he can be secure, that is because they are men who know not.

— (at-Tawbah: 6)

Note: The picture depicts what is prohibited to do. The correct practice is to position the Basmalah at the top, with any subsequent content placed be beneath.

ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَـٰٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى ٱلْقُلُوب

Whosoever (a believer) observes and honors
the sanctity of what has been ordained of the symbols of Allah, that is truly from the piety of the (sincere) heart.

— (al-Hajj: 32)

“It is not proven that the Isrā’ and Mi’rāj occured in (the month of) Rajab, and there is no authentic ḥadīth from the Prophet ﷺ nor from any of the Companions, specifying its year, month, or day.”— 'Abdul 'Azīz Al-Ṭārīfī (quote)

“...The saying that Isrā’ occured in Rajab has no basis. It is said that it was in Rajab. Likewise it is said Rabī’ al-Awwal. It is also said other than these and there is no basis for this nor that. Even the (sepcific day of) Isrā’ has not been proven, so how can the month be proven? The opinion of the majority is that Isrā’ occured three years before the Hijrah —this is the opinion of the majority of scholars and the majority of biographers. As for specifying the specific month being such-and-such —nothing has been proven about it, and even if anything had been proven, this does not mean that this month is (out of ordinarily) designated for worship, 'Umrah, or anything else...” — Shaykh Sulaymān bin Nāṣir Al-'Alwān (audio)
