The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Indeed amazing is the affair of a believer! It is always best for him - and this is for no one except a believer. If he is granted ease of living, he shows shukr (gratitude to Allah), and this is best for him. And if he is afflicted with a hardship, he perseveres, and this is best for him.”

The bliss of this Hadith is experienced by any Muslim who fully relies on Allah. That’s why you always see the believer content, even when faced with seemingly impossible situations. Their patience is rooted in the knowledge that only Allah alone can make the impossible possible. The imprisoned and tortured man that you see smiling in the face of continuous persecution and oppression, it’s because of this unwavering trust and contentment that brings them bliss in this life and the next.

It was said to Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله:
"What is with the ones who pray tahajjud at night, that they seem to have the most beautiful faces of the people?"
He replied: "This is because they secluded themselves with Ar-Rahman, so He clothed them in His noor (light)."

ʿAbdul Malik said: “I asked my father about the authenticity of the ḥadīth (Oh Allah, bless us in Rajab and Shaʿban, and let us reach Ramaḍān)?
He (Al-ʿAlwān) replied:
❝ This ḥadīth is recorded in Al-Bazzār, and Al-Ṭabarānī in Al-Awsaṭ, Al-Bayhaqī in Al-Shuʿab, Ibn ʿAsākir and others, from the ḥadīth of Anas. It is a Munkar (denounced) report. Rajab is one of the sacred months, and there is nothing authentic on its virture other than this.
As for Shaʿban, the Prophet ﷺ used to fast a lot and fast most of it. This is preserved from the Prophet ﷺ from aḥādīth in the (books of) Ṣaḥīḥ. As for the aḥādīth narrated regarding the night of the middle of Sha’ban, they are weak, and to strengthen them by joining the different paths: there is a disagreeable view on it. ❞

And remember your Lord within yourself, humbly and with fear and without loudness in words in the mornings, and in the afternoons and be not of those who are neglectful. [7:205]
Those who remember Allāh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): “Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. [3:191]
