Do not become despondent of the mercy of Allah. If you cannot achieve forgiveness in Ramadan, there is no hope for you. Ramadan offers an invaluable chance for Muslims. The gates of heavens are wide open, the gates of hell fire are sealed and the Shayateen are chained away. It is the greatest opportunity for the believer, for one month striving and enhancing their worship, seeking repentance, and achieving everlasting joy. Every other month revolves around this month, our entire year is a build up to this month because we want to come out victorious, we want to come out forgiven for our sins and acceptance of our deeds by the Most Merciful. That’s why we strive to make action a worship, even to smile in the face of your brother is charity.
Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم ascended the pulpit and he said, “Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, you ascended the pulpit and said Ameen, Ameen, Ameen.” [The companions never saw the Prophet do this, so they inquired about it from him]. The Prophet said, “Verily, Jibreel came to me and he said: ‘Whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and he is not forgiven, then he will enter Hellfire and Allah will cast him far away, so say Ameen.’ I said Ameen...”
If you reached this month, that’s the biggest sign for you to hasten to the forgiveness of Allah. Imagine, just one night within this month equals the reward of over 83 years of worship. So weep because your life has been prolonged to witness this sacred month, and tighten your garments. How many awaited Ramadan and died the night before! Be thankful and cherish this opportunity, for it's a gift, a precious addition to your scale of good deeds. If you are sincere this month, you will taste the sweetness delight taste of faith. A taste only the few of the few truly taste, wherein they walk on this Earth but their hearts reside in paradise (Jannah). Most of the people are hollow and have a moral emptiness of God-fearing.
