Ibn al Qayyim (رحمه الله) said,
"The difference between you and the pious is that they overpower their desires."

Al-An'am 6:27
وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَٰلَيۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
If you could but see when they will be held over the (Hell) Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back (to the world)! Then we would not deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.) of our Lord, and we would be of the believers!"
އެއުރެން ނަރަކައިގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ބައިތިއްބަވާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނެ ނަމައެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. އޭ ސަހަރޯއެވެ! ތިމަންމެން (ދުނިޔެއަށް) އަނބުރާ ފޮނުއްވާނެނަމަ ކޮންފަދަހެއްޔެވެ؟ އޭރުން ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގެއް ނުކުރާނޫއެވެ. އަދި إيمان ވި މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިމަންމެން ވާނޫއެވެ.

އެއުރެން ނަރަކައިގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ބައިތިއްބަވާހިނދު ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނެ ނަމައެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. އޭ ސަހަރޯއެވެ! ތިމަންމެން (ދުނިޔެއަށް) އަނބުރާ ފޮނުއްވާނެނަމަ ކޮންފަދަހެއްޔެވެ؟ އޭރުން ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގެއް ނުކުރާނޫއެވެ. އަދި إيمان ވި މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިމަންމެން ވާނޫއެވެ.
Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.

TRAVEL TO YOUR LORD IN A BEAUTIFUL WAY
Hamid al-Qaysarī used to say:
'All of us were certain of death, yet we were not prepared for it. All of us were certain of Paradise, yet we had not performed any actions for it. All of us were certain of the Hellfire, yet we were not in fear of it. So why are you joyous? What are you waiting for? Death, it is the first visitor from Allāh which brings either good or evil. O brothers, travel to your Lord in a beautiful way."

إِنَّمَا جَزَٰٓؤُاْ ٱلَّذِينَ يُحَارِبُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَسَادًا أَن يُقَتَّلُوٓاْ أَوۡ يُصَلَّبُوٓاْ أَوۡ تُقَطَّعَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَأَرۡجُلُهُم مِّنۡ خِلَٰفٍ أَوۡ يُنفَوۡاْ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ ذَٰلِكَ لَهُمۡ خِزۡىٌ فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِى ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.
اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއާ ހަނގުރާމަކޮށް އުޅޭ މީހުންނާއި، ބިމުގައި فساد ކުރުމަށް މަސައްކަތް ކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހުންގެ ޖަޒާއެއް ކަމުގައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ އެއުރެން މެރުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ صليب އަށް އެރުވުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ، ތަފާތުކޮށް އެއުރެންގެ އަތްފައި ބުރިކުރުމެވެ. (އެބަހީ: ކަނާތާއި، ވާތުފައި ނުވަތަ ވާތާއި، ކަނާތުފައި ބުރިކުރުމެވެ.) ނުވަތަ، ރަށުން ފޮނުވައިލުމެވެ. އެއީ އެއުރެންނަށް ދުނިޔޭގައި ހުރި ނިކަމެތިކަމެވެ. އަދި آخرة ގައި، އެއުރެންނަށް ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.
