Day 19 🕌 Friday 📿

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ❁ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

I'tikaf Infographic

It was proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to observe i'tikaaf during the last ten nights of Ramadaan, Agreed upon. This indicates that the period of i’tikaaf is counted by the nights, not the days. And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And by the ten nights”

[al-Fajr 89:2]

The last ten nights start with the twenty-first.

📍Based on this, he should enter the mosque before the sun sets on the night of the twenty-first. (That is before breaking 20th fast)

Three girls in the south of Gaza, each sharing their own personal tragedies of the war. The third girl tells of being displaced by war, witnessing her uncle's cries of hunger in the north, and grappling with the death of her grandmother from hunger, questioning what she did to deserve such a fate.
