♥️ In these blessed final nights (the last ten nights of Ramadan), we have been given the blessing by Allah to experience and live through them. Please remember our dear Shaykh Musa in your adi’yah. The Shaykh has been a beacon of light, hope, wisdom, guidance and knowledge for nearly a century. He is from the senior A’immah of our time (May Allah preserve him), standing as a bulwark against Shirk and bid’ah. He has educated and led many, nurturing a generation upon the true essence of Tawheed and revitalizing the pure original uncontaminated religion the Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم came with.
He is the most gentle and humble soul we've ever encountered, meeting trials and tribulations with a smile and patience. We saw nothing from him but forbearance against the oppression and harm against him. The first one (in his time) to speak for the Muslim Ummah when everyone else forsook it, hastening to fulfil their needs even at his own expense. Abandoned, exiled and imprisoned. He is merciful towards the believers and a thorn in the eyes of the disbelievers.
He is our Shaykh, we hold him in the highest regard. An embodiment of knowledge and patience. Indeed, he is a Shaykh who embodies the knowledge of the early generations as if the Salaf al-Saalih (pious predecessors) stood before us. We say about him what ibn Qayyim said about his teacher (Ibn Taymiyyah), when our Imaan would get low and our faith was wavering, we would see our Shaykh and our Imaan would be reignited.
Particularly in the last few months, our Shaykh حفظه الله has been extremely unwell. His sickness has been extreme. To the extent that despite his passion and love for solving problems, helping resolve matters and counselling spouses (as a marriage counsellor) his ailment has for the first time prevented him from accepting calls. So, ask Allah to give him a speedy recovery and long life filled with good deeds. He is a blessing amongst us. ♥️

#NEW | How to Teach A Child to Love Allah? | (21) Ramadān 1445 Q&A
Forwarded from Lanterns of Tawheed
“We used to be young.
We used to pray behind the Imām and wonder at the long prostrations.
Then the years passed by us, stealing our innocence along with them. Life levied upon us its trials and we began to shoulder our Deen on our backs.
We grew.
We grew until we began to lead the people in prayer, and became surprised to hear them shifting around in discomfort during the prostration.
How naive of Life is the one who doesn’t yearn for the prostrations to be prolonged. The days passed and we too passed from such a state to another…”

The best dhikr is the Kalima of Tawḥīd, and the best form of it i
«لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْر»
And in the two books of Ṣaḥīḥ, on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ that whoever says it 100 times, it will be equal to the reward of freeing ten slaves.
And if the servant reads it every night during the last ten days of Ramaḍān, and it coincided with Laylat al-Qadr, and we were to take the advantage of Laylat al-Qadr being multiplied in reward, it would be as if he had freed more than 300,000 slaves, add to it that freeing a single slave is an emancipation from the hellfire, as in the two books of Ṣaḥīḥ, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said {He who sets free a Muslim slave, Allah will deliver from the fire of Hell every limb of his body in return for every limb of the slave's body}
It is an amazing virtue and people's heedlessness of such work on these nights is shocking. ❞
