You don't get to get away with this, even if they think of you to be male. Because whatever their assumption, your true identity doesn't change. You know it and Allah knows that you're still a female. So fear Him! Don't engage in mindless chit-chat where brothers can see you. Don't insert yourselves and go back and forth with brothers in their discussions and debates.
