A wife must obey her husband, except in that which is immoral and against the will of God. This does not mean that the woman is inferior, or that she cannot give her opinion or advice on the decisions to be made, on the contrary, both must speak and listen to each other, but if there is disparity the woman must accept the husband's decision, without this authority meaning tyranny, as many want to make believe today. It is logical that, as in every company, to put a simile, there is a hierarchy and a boss or head who takes the final decisions, thus avoiding conflicts and disputes that go beyond. On the other hand, this implies a greater responsibility in the husband that God will take into account when he is judged. Each one has a role and it is necessary to go deeper into it in order to understand it. A man is also asked to love his wife as Christ loved the Church, giving his life for her, and no one complains about that.

Pope Leo XIII's 1880 encyclical Arcanum divinae sapientiae reiterates the authority of the husband over his wife in these terms:

The husband is the head of the family and the head of the woman, who, however, since she is flesh of his flesh and bone of his bones, must submit and obey her husband, not as a slave, but as a companion; that is, that the obedience given should not lack honesty or dignity. Both in him who commands and in her who obeys, since both are the image, one of Christ and the other of the Church, may charity be the constant regulator of duty. Since the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church... And just as the Church is subject to Christ, so also the wives are subject to their husbands in everything. (par. 8)

Several channels were purged by Telegram today for breaking the TOS, sparking fears of a coming purge app-wide like we have seen elsewhere over the last week. The pages that were removed had been advocating violent and illegal activities as of late, and what happened today with being scrubbed is not their first time on this rodeo either. As long as you use common sense (aka, no fedposting, good opsec) you and your channels will be okay. 🙏🏻
