Does anyone around here know of what would be the best course of action to avoid the development of allergies/asthma in babies and children?

I'm looking around and can't find anything very solid (beyond breastfeeding and early exposure to food allergens). I suspect that the more natural environment, the better, but beyond that I can't think anything more.

Throughout history and in many cultures, children have been extensively involved in military campaigns. But in the last several decades they have been shielded early on or all together. Some obese cat lady with no children lobbies against us, "think of the children!". Here's my favorite, "your kids are allowed around guns???".

For their protection, if at all possible, teach your children to own and maintain a battle rifle. Teach them to cover and move, to conserve ammunition, and to blend in with their surroundings. Have "war games", teach them to lead, and to follow commands. This is good family bonding, and team building. It may save their life's one day, maybe even yours...
