Marusya is an ideal image of Ukrainian femininity.
Ukrainian literature is full of diverse images of women, somewhere it is capricious, somewhere tender, somewhere devoted. But perhaps the most striking image of a young, beautiful woman is Marusya by Kvitka-Osnovyanenko. This fragile young lady contrasts with a practical village, although she is hardworking. Pious, sincere, shy and of course obedient to parents. She is unfamiliar with the modern cries of urban ladies, she fully understands her own role in the world. A tragic fate took her under a downpour, where she became very ill and later closed her completely clean eyes forever. Such images are a manifestation of the true Ukrainian traditional essence.

Please allow for this process, your child will be much better set up and well adjusted later in life.
