No woman should take drugs for purposes of abortion, nor should she kill her children that have been conceived or are already born. If anyone does this, she should know that before Christ’s tribunal she will have to plead her case in the presence of those she has killed.

SERMON XXII. FIRST SUNDAY AFTER EASTER - ON AVOIDING THE OCCASIONS OF SIN ~ St Alphonsus

This verse has spoken to me so much over the years. Children are a blessing and raising them is a sacrifice unto the Lord; a woman's cross to bear. It is deeply fulfilling and equally exhausting work. A woman learns how strong she is during childbirth and how weak she is during the daily mundane. I have experienced these ebbs and flows; the beauty and disappointment, learning what truly matters and relinquishing Earthly desires.
Becoming a good mother is a painful and beautiful journey. I have fought my own inner demons and those of the Evil One time and time again. What I have learned is that only when you are completely broken down and worn out will you surrender to, and accept, God's will. Only then can you embrace your life, your duty and your purpose with grace. In that moment of surrender you find peace. I am certain that the more you struggle in doing God's will, the more glory you give to Him. The more that you aim to do what's right, things will fall into place in your life. Embrace the struggle 💗

Happy Mother's Day 🌸
Strength and dignity are her clothing,
and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all.”
Proverbs 31:25 - 29 ESV

"Anyone here having some tips on how to improve my 2yo daughter communicative skills, when she gets upset se restores to screaming only instead of talking.
I know it's almost always the parants fault, so what we do is: when she stars screaming (not getting what she wants as example) we go and find a solution for her, until she gets what she wants. But otherwise she can go on screaming and crying for hours, partially ruining the entire day. After the screaming she will be exhausted for a while and absolutely disobedient to everything we say.
It might also be just the age, we have no idea."
