Happy Feast of the Assumption of Our Holy Mother.
Today is a Holy Day of Obligation.
If you are able to, go to Mass with your family, pray the Holy Rosary together, and feast in Our Blessed Lady's Honor.
“And she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. (Luke 1:42)”
“Because he hath regarded the humility of his handmaid; for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. (Luke 1:48)”

There is an indescribable joy that some will feel within their hearts when they are called into the holy vocation of Motherhood. Never has their been a mother so sweet, so tender, and so understanding than Mother Mary. For she would not mock her child when He ran towards her in tears, whether it be from a nightmare, or from a bad thought. She had never mocked, ridiculed, or emotionally abused her only Son. Always being compassionate, graceful, and yet, vigilant, she became the eternal figure of what a mother should always be like towards her child.
There are many children in the world today who, although they have mothers, the mothers do not treat them well. Maybe you come from a family that experienced the same thing. It should be known, then, and repeated a thousand times over, that you have a mother in Heaven that will never laugh at you nor mock you when you pray, or gossip behind your back when you commit a wrongdoing.

Let Mary always remain an example of what we must do in the vocation of motherhood, and exceed in the raising of our own children. Let us forgive our mothers, some of whom who might've not treated us correctly or so tenderly. We beg for God's mercy on them, and that one day they may see the light.
