“The difference between this child and that one is often largely a matter of what he saw in and heard from his parents. His religious response, his sense of honesty, his ability to play with other children and be unselfish toward them, his attitude toward books, his appreciation of the beautiful, his sense of what is right and what is wrong, his quick apprehending of the charming and noble, his ready reaction to music that is good, his approval of heroism and his rejection of evil and cheapness – all these things need to be established in the child’s mind by the parents, who alone can deeply and strong-rootedly establish them!”

“If men today were more like St. Joseph—protectors and defenders of beauty, instead of users and abusers of the feminine mystery—what a different world this would be.”

The fate of a mother is to wait for her children.
She waits for you when she’s pregnant.
She waits for you to get out of school.
She waits for you to get home after a night out.
She waits on you to start your own life.
She waits for you to get home from work to come home to a nice dinner
You wait for them with love, with anxiety and sometimes with anger that passes immediately when you see them and you can hug them.
Make sure your old mom doesn't have to wait any longer.
Visit her, love her, hug the one who loved you like no one else ever will. Don't make her wait, she's expecting this from you. Because the membranes get old but the heart of a mother never gets old. Love her as you can. No person will love you like your mother will

An important issue that relates to how successful we are as parents is teaching modesty to our daughters. So many mothers make the critical error of trying to be their daughter's friend instead of being her parent. Often, the articles of clothing the teenager picks off the rack is something that is truly over the edge.
Then Mom starts rationalizing: 'My daughter is a good kid. She doesn't smoke or drink. She's buying it with her own money! All of her friends are wearing this style.' Plus, if you say 'no,' it is going to ruin the whole mood of the outing. So, Mom gives in and approves. We all want our kids to love us, but at what cost? When do we plan to start teaching them? As they are heading off for college? No, we must teach them early that they must stand for something or they are going to fall for everything.
