Divorce is never the answer!

Our Lord would not leave you because you were imperfect, broken, or hard to deal with.

He will not leave you because of your past or any trauma you might have endured.

He will not abandon you.

Do not abandon your spouse!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5

If you want to be like Jesus

Be the one that stays when everyone else walks away.
Be the one who forgives even when it’s undeserved.
Be the one to show grace when everyone else is casting stones.
Be the one to show love even when they betray you.

Because that’s who Jesus was.

Husbands need the respect and support of their wives. This works both ways, as the wife needs to feel the support of her husband. But respect is huge for a man. A God-fearing husband knows the Lord has placed him in a position of leadership. It can be overwhelming for them sometimes because of the feeling of being squeezed from the pressures of life. The last thing a husband needs to feel is distance or distrust from his wife. Her spousal support may be the only thing that is preventing him from giving up.
