Want to Love Your Spouse Better

In questions which children's privacy:

If your child had a diary or a notepad, how would you go about it? If the child did not want to tell you something or show you something, how would you respond?

This is going to be a bit of a sensitive topic, but I am interested nevertheless and would wish to use the advice for my own parenting:

For those of you who were abused and feel comfortable enough to share your experiences as a parent (or if you would like to become a parent in the future), how do you break the cycle of abuse and ensure the happiness and joy of your children and family?

She was a Spanish nun and founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament and Mary Immaculate. Even when she was not yet a nun, she already took time to serve the sick in hospitals and help the poor. She also gave her money to poor young women to keep them away from prostitution. Her work and personal piety attracted other like-minded women. This became the start of her religious congregation.

Please pray for young men so that they might not corrupt themselves or the women of today, but instead help them to grow into chaste, virtuous women. Amen.

For women, does you or someone in your life (husband, brother, friend, etc) have a hot temper? How do you find ways to respect and love them despite this flaw? What do you avoid? What do you suggest?

Do me a favor friends. This kind old lady, Mary, at the I’ve been going to church works with one of those pro life centers and she got a email from a 32 year old women named Monica who is 33 weeks pregnant and has an abortion scheduled. She asked the Priest and I to pray for that woman and her unborn child. Please pray for that woman and her unborn child 🙏

Lord Jesus,
Grant that my spouse and I may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with eachother with peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another’s weaknesses
and grow from each other's strengths. Help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well being of one another ahead of self.
May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year. Bring us both ever closer to Thee through our love for each other. Let our love help us grow in perfection. Amen•

Prayer requests for a 92 year old aunt on my wife's side of the family who's been taken to the hospital for what appears to be a stroke. She only speaks Spanish and was raised Catholic, but she's taken care of by her evangelical protestant family. I fear they've tried to "convert" her as shes lived with them and would probably deny her a priest for last rites. Pray for God's mercy.
