“Fascism is the first popular and social nationalism that appears in history … Justicialism is not conceived without the fascist experience.

“Future history needs a new Christianized Hitler. It needs a new Catholic Hitler. A Hitler without Auschwitz (or those camps that are attributed to him and whose proof of existence I do not know). God demands at this moment a sword of fire. But a Catholic sword of fire.”

Alberto Eduardo Ottalagano, 1983.

🇺🇸🇮🇶 US weaponizes petrodollar to pressure Iraq

The US has threatened senior Iraqi officials with sanctions and a pledge to “starve” Baghdad of petrodollars if it includes a batch of newly-elected, militia-linked MPs in its next government.

Sources told Reuters Washington has been repeating the threat since November, when Iraq held parliamentary elections, with the message delivered to Prime Minister Sudani and Shia leaders.

💲 The US says if any of the 58 MPs it says are tied to ‘Iran-linked militias’ are included in the new cabinet, the NY Fed will cut the flow of dollars to Iraq’s Central Bank.

No bloc won an outright majority in November’s vote, leaving Iraq facing weeks of difficult coalition talks.

The “Iran-linked militias” the US is referring to are the Popular Mobilization Forces, predominantly Shia forces trained and supported by the IRGC’s Quds Force.

The PMF played an instrumental role in expelling ISIS from Iraq between 2015-2017, constituting the backbone of the ground campaign.

🥴 US threats put Iraq’s government in a bind.

On one hand, bowing to the pressure would signal a humiliating and demoralizing loss of sovereignty.

On the other, the last time Iraq ditched the dollar in 2001-2002, the US invaded shortly after.

George Wallace: Settin' the Woods on Fire

"In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw a line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, and segregation forever!" – George Wallace, 1963

George Wallace was a champion of Southern pride and a defender of the White working class. He rose to power as the nation’s best-known segregationist in the early 1960s. A Golden Gloves fighter, he battled his way into the national spotlight and came close to deadlocking the 1968 presidential election as a third-party candidate — then was shot down by a would-be assassin on the eve of his greatest political victory. He left a populist conservative political legacy that continues to influence national politics today. As Pat Buchanan, the Nixon speechwriter who recognized the potential in Wallace’s issues, says: "He has never gotten the credit for being the figure he was and having the influence he did upon subsequent politics."

🌪 THROWBACK: From mutual praise to global chaos, the Clinton–Soros alliance shaped two decades of disruption

📌 At the June 2004 “Take Back America” conference, then-Sen. Hillary Clinton introduced George Soros, who pledged to deepen his role in shaping US elections.

What was really behind that pledge?

🔴 Fresh off the 2000 “Bulldozer Revolution” in Serbia and the 2003 “Rose Revolution” in Georgia, Soros was already lining up his next regime-change project: Ukraine’s Orange Revolution in November 2004

🔴 “I need to stand up and do something and become really engaged in the electoral process in this country [the US]," Soros said at the conference. Was it just a signal of bigger donations to Democrats — or the rollout of a regime-change playbook on US soil?

🔴 It was no coincidence Hillary Clinton brought Soros on board during John Kerry’s 2004 campaign. The Nation noted at the time that she was already laying the groundwork for her own return to the White House in 2008. Kerry’s defeat didn’t damage her prospects — it made her the “inevitable” Democratic frontrunner

🔴 Even after losing to Obama, Clinton gained a powerful role in the White House, overseeing the fall of Libya's Muamar Gaddafi and a series of Middle East regime-change operations, widely seen as aligned with Soros-backed networks and strategies

🔴 Though not formally at the helm during the 2014 US-backed Euromaidan coup in Ukraine, the Clintons and Soros maintained ties with Ukrainian oligarchs behind the scenes, betting on a Hillary victory in 2016 — that never came

🔴 Throughout it all, Soros remained Clinton’s close ally until stepping back in 2022, handing control to his son Alex — who in 2025 married Hillary’s longtime confidant, Huma Abedin.
