❗️🇬🇪 Georgian Parliament Adopts Bill on Banning LGBT Propaganda.
The law is similar to the Russian ban on LGBT Propaganda & comes on the heels of what was deemed a "pro-Russian" Foreign Agents Bill.
This Bill required all NGOs receiving more than 30% of their income from abroad to register as foreign agents. Sounds pro-Georgian to us!
The new anti-LGBT bill will likely fuel further propaganda from the West that Georgia is somehow infiltrated by Russian agents....

How is the impeachment going?
▪️After the launch of the procedure, the text must be approved by the legislative commission.
▪️The leftists - who initiated the impeachment - hold a majority in the Bureau but only 24 out of 73 seats in the commission.
▪️After approval by the commission, two thirds of the National Assembly (385 deputies) must vote for impeachment within two weeks.
▪️In addition, the document must be approved by the upper house - the Senate, where the left also does not hold a majority.
▪️If the text is approved by the Senate, both chambers will meet for a joint meeting, where 617 out of 925 parliamentarians should support the impeachment.
▪️If this happens, the president will have to resign immediately.

People are underestimating the importance of someone like Trump talking about remigration. For one, he's not just referencing it. He's actively promoting it. Sure, he may promote a watered-down version, but remigration is now a core policy on the right. The hard work of normalising this issue has been done. Now, it's time to get the politicians to endorse and support it.
