In a PK defense scenario where SAMs contribute to defense, PK/IN are roughly equal in air, and PK outguns India significantly in SPG. Without ability to suppress artillery with CAS, attacker will get massacred.
India's artillery procurement has been a disaster, a ground offensive is infeasible.
India's greatest area of advantage over Pakistan is infantry manpower. It would be insane to attack using infantry numerical superiority against Pakistan's artillery superiority. This is not a politically realistic option.
Russia has a 10:1 advantage in artillery over Ukraine, attacking over flat terrain, and it is still a major slog. For India to attack with a 1:2 disadvantage in artillery, in mountainous terrain, would be insanity.
My conclusion is a major Indian offensive is infeasible. Even a major air campaign would be insanely expensive. Most likely outcome is a symbolic strike like 2019 where both sides claim victory until next time.

After looking into it a bit more, I think India must have insane levels of corruption in their military. India spends 10x as much as Pakistan on military but advantage in air is only 3:2, and India is actually inferior to Pakistan in artillery by 1:2.

However, more importantly, the US combat vessel, USS Savannah is also seen operating south of the shoal. The closest the US has ever been to Scarborough Shoal.
Scarborough Shoal is currently blockaded by at least 11 Chinese vessels.

See photo 1: We have marked the point of the initial fume on the map as a red flame. The point from which the footage was captured has also been marked as a purple X, the arrow indicates the direction of recording.
The vital detail of the footage are the two trucks up front, the trucks can be seen carrying 'sandbags', packaging identical nitrogen tetroxide, N₂O₄, a powerful oxidant. If near combustible material (the initial fume), it will explode, and explode very powerfully.
The question is, why were two truck loads of N₂O₄ being moved in the direction of the fume? And then parked in front of a warehouse. The compounds were just delivered to the doorstep of the already existing fire, and then left there to explode...
See photo 2: Rerum Novarum have identified the warehouse on the right-hand side of the trucks belongs to Sinai Maritime and Port Services. According to Financial Times, the company is in no way involved in storing ballistic or rocket fuels.
However, it is likely they were making their way towards a large storage facility further west (marked with a green flag, with the route shown on map). There is no information for this warehouse, which is normal for Iran when storing sensitive materials.
But it doesn't explain why the trucks were parked, or this route was even taken, as the warehouse in the west has its own access road. Negligence?

""If you don't listen to me, there will be nothing at all." Nabiullina wanted to raise the key rate, but she was not allowed to do so
A source in the Kremlin told us about this. According to him, the head of the Central Bank "wanted to arrange games and blackmail with the key rate in order to achieve the fastest possible completion of the SMO."
"
[Elvira] Nabiullina has an obsession: it is necessary to end military actions, otherwise there will be some terrible disaster in the economy (we wrote about this, - ed.). She wanted to arrange blackmail and raise the key rate, and almost to 23% at once. Like, don't listen to me, take it, there will be no mortgages in Russia, nothing at all. Very serious people did not allow her to do this and generally wanted to force her to lower the key rate," the channel's interlocutor said.Nabiullina herself did not heed this demand, and the rate remained at 21%.
The entourage of the head of the Central Bank refused to comment on this information. But they confirmed that they are waiting for the completion of the SMO and" do not intend to hide it."

“The reason Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons is because successive governments, under my prime ministership, have led successive actions — which I won’t discuss here in detail — that set them back about ten years from where they thought they’d be. Ten years ago, they already thought they’d have a nuclear arsenal.
They don’t.
We delayed them, but we didn’t stop them.
They’ve moved very far on enrichment. They’re trying to move on weaponry. The question now is what to do. Happily, we have a president in Washington who’s committed, as he says — and as he said to me many times, including just recently — we can’t allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. And I said, I absolutely believe that. I’ve devoted a good chunk of my life to prevent that.
There are two ways to do it.
One is to get a deal that would prevent them from doing that by dismantling their nuclear infrastructure.
You have to dismantle their nuclear infrastructure.
That means not just that they will not enrich uranium, but that they will not have the capacity to enrich uranium.
Which means you destroy the centrifuges.
You remove, of course, the nuclear material that they’ve already enriched.
There are a few other things you have to do, but that’s the crux of it.
The real deal that works is a deal which removes Iran’s capacity to enrich uranium for nuclear weapons.”

The China Coast Guard (CCG) landed on Sandy Cay, a disputed reef in the South China Sea earlier this month to assert sovereignty over the island that the de jure part of Vietnam and which Philippines also claims, Chinese media reported on Thursday.
Chinese State media reports CCG officers ‘exercising maritime control’ on Sandy Cay, one of the reefs in the Vietnam's Spratly Islands also claimed by the Philippines.
According to the state-run Global Times, photographs show CCG officers unfurling a Chinese flag on an uninhabited sand bank, identified as Sandy Cay, also known as Tiexian Jiao in China, Hoài Ân Island in Vietnam and Pagasa Cay 2 in the Philippines.
Chinese forces occupied the uninhabited island and raising the PRC red flag over the disputed island
“In mid-April this year, the China Coast Guard exercised sovereign jurisdiction by exercising maritime control at Sandy Cay in the South China Sea,” it reported, without specifying the date of the landing.
The officers carried out inspections on the reef “to collect video evidence of relevant illegal activities by the Philippines”, and cleared rubbish like plastic bottles, wood sticks and other debris, the report said.
Part of the contested Spratly Islands, the Sandy Cay is the closest reef to the Subi Reef, China’s second largest artificial island and military base in the South China Sea.
It is also only several kilometers from Thitu Island, the largest base the Philippines currently holds.
Sandy Cay is actually three coalescing sand bars situated between Philippines-occupied Thitu (Pag-asa Island) and China-occupied Subi.
They are now above water at high tide, so they are legal ‘rocks’.
According to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, this ennoscripts them to 12 nautical miles of territorial sea.
Sandy Cay is part of Thitu Reefs in the northwestern sector of the Spratly Islands.
Thitu Reefs consist of two atolls.
The eastern atoll comprises two reefs that are completely submerged.
The western atoll comprises Thitu Island and several sandbars, one of which is Sandy Cay (Hoài Ân/Pagasa Cay 2)
Thitu Island and Sandy Cay are high-tide features.
As noted by observers, the other sandbars are either completely submerged features or low-tide elevations.
Since Sandy Cay is next to Thitu (Pag-asa Island), the main Philippine outpost in the Spratly Islands, by taking it over, China is also applying pressure on Thitu.
Such an act of aggression is just yet another step in China's encroaching game in the Spratly Islands.
