The German domestic intelligence service BfV on Friday classified the Alternative for Germany (AfD) as a right-wing extremist group, citing numerous instances of the party trying to "undermine the free, democratic" order. The designation grants the BfV greater monitoring powers just months after the far-right party came second in national elections.

The German secret service has official declared the AfD to be "extremist".

2. Dennis Hohloch, state parliament staffer, warned on August 25, 2024, in Brandenburg (an der Havel) about a high proportion of migrants:
“Diversity means multiculturalism. And what does multiculturalism mean? Multiculturalism means loss of tradition, loss of identity, loss of homeland, murder, manslaughter, robbery, and gang rape.”

3. Martin Reichardt, Bundestag staffer, criticized a “failed migration policy” on the platform X in November:
“Failed migration policy and abuse of asylum have led to the importation—hundreds of thousands of times over—of people from deeply backward and misogynistic cultures.”

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🇬🇧 Britain has confirmed sending troops to Ukraine, The Telegraph reports.

Defence Secretary John Healey said the British contingent would be deployed to the west of the country and would focus on restoring the combat capability of Ukrainian forces.
