World-first biocomputing platform hits the market

In a development straight out of science fiction, Australian startup Cortical Labs has released what it calls the world’s first code-deployable biological computer. The CL1, which debuted in March, fuses human brain cells on a silicon chip to process information via sub-millisecond electrical feedback loops.

Designed as a tool for neuroscience and biotech research, the CL1 offers a new way to study how brain cells process and react to stimuli. Unlike conventional silicon-based systems, the hybrid platform uses live human neurons capable of adapting, learning, and responding to external inputs in real time.

I just finished speaking, by telephone, with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia.

The call lasted approximately one hour and 15 minutes.

We discussed the attack on Russia’s docked airplanes, by Ukraine, and also various other attacks that have been taking place by both sides.

It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate Peace.

President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields.

We also discussed Iran, and the fact that time is running out on Iran’s decision pertaining to nuclear weapons, which must be made quickly!

I stated to President Putin that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon and, on this, I believe that we were in agreement.

President Putin suggested that he will participate in the discussions with Iran and that he could, perhaps, be helpful in getting this brought to a rapid conclusion.

It is my opinion that Iran has been slowwalking their decision on this very important matter, and we will need a definitive answer in a very short period of time!

Spyware company Palantir is engaged in large-scale data collection on American citizens, having taken on multiple contracts across Federal Government agencies with large holdings of private information.

A March 2025 Executive Order signed by Trump mandated all Federal Agencies to remove all barriers to intra- and inter-agency sharing of unclassified records. At the same time, the Administration is committing hundreds of millions of dollars to Palantir, a major intelligence contractor whose CEO Alex Karp told an investor call in February 2025: “Palantir is here to disrupt... and, when it’s necessary, to scare our enemies and, on occasion, kill them.”

Palantir's data analytics product 'Foundry' is already installed within four Federal agencies including the Health and Human Services Department and the Department of Homeland Security, with talks under way with other agencies including the IRS. Widespread deployment would give the Administration unprecedented warrantless access to the private records of everyone in the United States, whether they are suspects in a criminal investigation or not.
