Iran has ordered thousands of tons of ballistic missile ingredients from China as part of an effort to rebuild its military capabilities while navigating ongoing nuclear talks with the United States, according to a Wall Street Journal report on Thursday, citing sources familiar with the transactions.
The shipments, which are expected to reach Iran in the coming months, include ammonium perchlorate, a key component in the solid propellant used for ballistic missiles. Sources indicated that these materials could potentially fuel hundreds of missiles.
Some of the ammonium perchlorate is expected to be sent to militias aligned with Iran, including the Houthis in Yemen, one of the sources revealed. This move aligns with Iran’s broader strategy to strengthen its regional influence and rebuild its missile arsenal while continuing to negotiate with the Trump administration over the future of its nuclear program.

President Trump is deepening his alliance with Palantir, the surveillance tech giant with ties to Israel and the CIA, just as he threatens to cancel Elon Musk’s contracts over their recent fallout around the spending bill.
“The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars,” Trump posted on Truth Social, “is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts.”
Palantir is building a sweeping AI-driven database of U.S. citizens, integrating government-held data on everything from political activity to firearms ownership. Even within the Trump-aligned America First movement, this direction is raising alarm.
Nick Fuentes, an influential hardline America First commentator, wrote:
“Feeding every ‘MAGA extremist’ into an AI database controlled by a CIA/Mossad cutout… Seriously, if Palantir isn’t the deep state, then what is?”
A deeper shift is underway: Trump is increasingly siding with Peter Thiel’s surveillance empire—and turning on Musk and the libertarian-leaning tech wing of MAGA.

#BREAKING | U.S. Halts Nuclear Plant Component Exports to China
The U.S. Department of Commerce has suspended all export licenses for nuclear plant components to China, effectively cutting off critical supplies, sources report.
The move, led by Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, escalates trade tensions as the U.S. tightens restrictions on strategic technologies. This follows similar curbs on semiconductor and jet engine tech exports.

🇻🇪🗺 More than 9 million Venezuelans have emigrated since 2013, says Diaspora Observatory.
Migration expert Tomás Páez explained that 90 countries around the world have hosted Venezuelans. This translates to 500 cities and approximately 1,500 municipalities.
He explained that two-thirds of Venezuelan migration is concentrated in Caribbean countries, while the remainder is in North American and European countries.
"Eleven percent of migration is in the United States, but this figure could be declining given the new measures taken by Donald Trump's administration," he noted.

🇵🇦 Protesters and police clash in eastern Panama
Authorities and protesters were injured Thursday in eastern Panama when border police tried to open a highway blocked in an Indigenous community as part of monthlong demonstrations against changes to the country’s social security system.
Border police in riot gear launched tear gas and fired rubber-coated metal balls to disperse balaclava-wearing protesters firing rocks from slingshots and throwing Molotov cocktails.
The National Border Service said in a statement that three of its members were taken for medical treatment. Among the protesters, at least one man’s back and arm were studded with a constellation of wounds from pellets fired by police and another appeared to suffer a serious injury to one eye.
