❗️Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone call last night with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani:

– Araghchi, referring to the friendly and strong relations between Iran and Qatar, emphasized Iran's firm determination to continue and strengthen comprehensive bilateral ties based on good neighborliness and mutual interests.

– Araghchi stated that the missile operation by Iran’s armed forces against the US Al-Udeid base was carried out within the framework of the legitimate right to self-defense in response to the US military aggression on 22 June against Iran, and should in no way be interpreted as an action against the friendly and brotherly state of Qatar.

– Araghchi also stressed that, in consultation with regional countries, Iran will not allow the hostile actions of Israel and the United States to affect Iran’s friendly relations with other countries in the region.

– Araghchi expressed appreciation for the stance of Qatar’s senior officials in condemning the aggression by Israel and the United States, and praised Qatar’s constructive role and efforts in helping to prevent further instability in the region.

– The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, during the call, reaffirmed his country’s commitment to playing a constructive role in safeguarding regional security and stability.

🇮🇱🇮🇷 - Iranian intelligence and security forces have arrested more than 700 Iranians, as well as several foreign nationals, on suspicion of spying for Israel during the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran.
