🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦 — Video: POTUS takes a question from Ukrainian reporter and wife of a soldier regarding US supply of Patriot missile systems to Ukraine:

"We're going to see if we can make some available.
They're very hard to get.
We need them too... that's a very good question... I can see it's very upsetting to you."

🇧🇷🇷🇺🌎 Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the BRICS summit in Brazil due to the risk of being arrested under an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant.

💬 Putin’s absence “is related to certain difficulties in the context of the ICC’s demands,” said Yuri Ushakov, the Kremlin’s international affairs advisor, during a press conference, referring to the arrest warrant issued in March 2023 against the Russian leader for the forced deportation of Ukrainian children.

🇧🇷 Ushakov added that “the Brazilian government took a weak stance, thus withholding permissions for our president to attend this meeting. The president will participate via videoconference. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will be in Brazil.”

🇨🇳⁉️🇧🇷🌎 Chinese President Xi Jinping cancels his trip to Brazil for the BRICS summit and sends the Prime Minister in his place. If confirmed, this will mark the first time Xi has missed a BRICS summit

🇧🇷 Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) has not officially confirmed his absence, but according to sources, China’s ambassador to Brazil, Zhu Qingqiao, visited the Presidential Palace to communicate the likely cancellation.

➡️ Xi Jinping has attended all previous editions, including the virtual summits held during the pandemic. In 2023, in South Africa, he left the country shortly before his speech but still met with other leaders. Xi and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) met twice in recent months: in November, during the G20 in Rio, and in May, at the China–CELAC Summit in Beijing.

🇮🇷 His absence comes amid the ongoing crisis between Israel and Iran. The two nations announced a ceasefire. Iran joined BRICS in 2024. In a statement, BRICS expressed “deep concern” over the bombings of Iranian nuclear facilities “of a peaceful nature.”

🇭🇺🇪🇺🏳️‍🌈 — Prime-Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, calls on European Commission to refrain from meddling on EU Member countries internal affairs and focus on things that actually matters for the average European citizen, as energy and economy

Dear Madam President,

I urge the European Commission to refrain from interfering in the law enforcement affairs of Member States, where it has no role to play.

I also call on the Commission to focus its efforts on the pressing challenges facing the European Union—areas where it does have a clear role and responsibility, and where it has made serious mistakes in recent years, such as the energy crisis and the erosion of European competitiveness.

Respectfully,
Viktor Orbán

🇫🇷 Migrants and youths turned an annual music festival in France into another round of mass brawls.

In France, the Festival de la Musique is celebrated every June, a festival that was launched 30 years ago and aims to promote music among the population. Over its 30-year history in Paris, the festival, in parallel with the increase in the number of migrants, has come a long way from a large-scale European cultural event to a demonstration of progressive African-Arab multiculturalism and diversity.

In just one night of the festival in Paris: 371 people were arrested; 51 vehicles were burned; 1,500 injured, 14 of them seriously injured; 6 people were stabbed; and 145 women were injected with an unknown substance, most likely drugs via syringes.

After the injection of this substance, some of the victims felt worse, others experienced dizziness. Migration from Africa and Asia has ruined every public event in France.

We discussed with Krzysztof Paszyk, the Minister of Development and Technology of Poland, the issue of assistance in rebuilding Ukraine.
🇵🇱🛠🤝🇺🇦❗️🇷🇺📰 ZeroHedge | Poland's Latest Megaproject Has Long-Term Anti-Russian Implications | Authored by Andrew Korybko via Substack | June 22, 2025:

"Its successful implementation will help optimize the “military Schengen”, bring about a windfall of profits from facilitating the EU’s trade with Asia that could then be reinvested in its ongoing militarization program, and thus altogether pose a very serious national security concern for Russia.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced late last month that his country will invest €1 billion into expanding the Euroterminal Slawkow railway facility in southwestern Poland, which is significantly the EU’s only cargo hub adapted to handle broad-gauge trains from the former Soviet Union. The plan calls for expanding the existing terminal’s capacity from around 285,000 standard containers per year to half a million and building another terminal to boot, while the long-term plan is to build five of them in total.

(...)

Either Tusk expects a thaw in EU-Russian tensions or he expects that this trade will be conducted along the multimodal “Middle Corridor” (MC) linking together China and the EU via Central Asia, the Caspian Sea, the South Caucasus, the Black Sea, and then Odessa in this context. About that city’s port, former Polish Deputy Minister of Agriculture Michal Kolodziejczak informally proposed leasing at least one wharf there in April, which was followed by Ukraine inviting Poland to help rebuild its maritime sector."
