Dominican media circulated images of a luxurious property in Punta Cana that is said to have been seized by the United States from President Nicolás Maduro. The mansion, known as Villa La Caracola, is beachfront and is valued at an estimated 18 million dollars. It has nine bedrooms with bathrooms and private terraces, ten bathrooms, an infinity pool, and spacious social areas, all on a lot of more than six thousand square meters.
U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi confirmed the seizure to Fox News, without specifying the exact date or location. This event follows the designation of the Cartel of the Suns as a terrorist organization and the increase of the reward for Maduro from 25 to 50 million dollars.
