🇺🇸❌🇻🇪❗️ — Over the past hours, 3x United States Air Force (USAF) B-52H Strategic Bombers were spotted over International Waters at the coast of Venezuela

As noted by observers, the B-52s have been conducting additional looping operations off the coast of Venezuela, inside the Maiquetia FIR just north of Los Roques

🇨🇴❌🇩🇴 — Gustavo Petro announced that he will not attend the Summit of the Americas in the Dominican Republic in “solidarity” with the dictatorships of Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua, which were excluded from the event by decision of the host country.

🇺🇸 The former guerrilla described the U.S. military operations in the Caribbean as an “act of aggression” and proposed organizing a parallel summit in Colombia together with CELAC.

I proposed to the United States a CELAC/U.S. meeting to study the economic integration of a greater America.

There was no response, and what we now have is an act of aggression in the Caribbean, which had been established as a zone of peace.

I will not attend the Summit of the Americas in the Dominican Republic. Dialogue does not begin with exclusions.

At the CELAC/Europe meeting, a strong alliance will be proposed based on knowledge, clean energy, artificial intelligence, and global public sovereignty over its regulation.

At the already advanced CELAC/China meeting, an agreement was reached under the same terms.

We proposed CELAC/African Union and CELAC/Middle East meetings.
We could also consider a CELAC/India.

I believe the path for Latin America lies in the broadest and deepest relationships with the world.

Latin America does not need to take sides in commercial competitions among powerful nations, which are always shifting.

Latin America must achieve internal integration through concrete projects: I proposed clean electric energy, Mexico proposed the production of medicines, and Brazil and we are advancing in Amazonian integration and in connecting with the entire world without exceptions and without subordination.
