🇺🇸🇨🇳🤌🇵🇦 Rumors that the United States Embassy in Panama was pressuring certain lawyers, deputies, businessmen, and even ministers over commercial ties with the Chinese government were confirmed by President Mulino, who admitted that this information did reach him and he is aware of it.

"There is a female official from the embassy out there threatening to revoke visas; that is not consistent with the good relationship that I aspire to have with the United States" he expressed, acknowledging that they are free to grant or revoke visas to whomever they wish, but not under threat.

Mulino noted that the State's contracts with Chinese companies are "very few" and that some of them, such as the bridge and tunnel under construction, are projects that "cannot be eliminated", no matter how much of a United States you may be.

"It is not healthy for the relationship, nor for the country's legal life, to use Panama as a pawn to sanction or eliminate a Chinese company that is already operating here" he warned.

The number two of Chavismo, Diosdado Cabello, issued a new threat against the United States during an event of the so-called “peasant militia” in La Guaira. The statement comes amid rising tensions in the region, following the U.S. military presence in the Caribbean.

Cabello expressed his ambivalent stance towards the United States, warning that the country is prepared to respond to any aggression and reinforcing the Chavista government's position to resist foreign influence in the area. The statements occur at a time when the increase of U.S. military forces in the Caribbean has heightened tensions in the region, generating international concern.

🇻🇪🇻🇪📺 — Nicolás Maduro denies internal fractures and calls the media that report divisions within Venezuela and his government “imbeciles.”

“Imbecile conspirators! I have bad news for you: the political-military high command is more united than ever in the defense of the homeland. There is no internal division between my government and the armed forces!”

➡️ The reaction came after the Miami Herald reported that Vice President Delcy Rodríguez had offered Washington the opportunity to lead a transitional government in Venezuela without Maduro, with Qatar as mediator.

🇺🇸 Almost a dozen major news outlets, both Conservative and Liberal, including The Atlantic, Associated Press, Axios, CNN, Guardian, Newsmax, New York Times, NPR, Reuters, Washington Post, and Washington Times, have announced their refusal to agree to a new set of rules and restrictions placed on journalists covering the Pentagon under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, which reporters will be required to sign their agreement to by Tuesday or risk losing their press passes at the Pentagon.

The Pentagon Press Association, which represents all reporters from all organizations working under the umbrella of the Pentagon Press Corps, has called the new restrictions a threat to the First Amendment, stating that the restrictions intend to “gag Pentagon employees and threatens retaliation against reporters who seek out information that has not been pre-approved for release.” While media outlets have stated that this “pledge” is part of a broader effort since January by the Trump Administration to limit information being provided to the public about goings-on within both the Pentagon and the U.S. Armed Forces.

So far only one outlet, One America News (OAN), has stated their intention to sign the pledge from the Pentagon.

🇻🇪💰🇨🇴🇧🇷🇦🇷🇧🇴🇪🇸URGENT: Hugo “El Pollo” Carvajal, former intelligence chief during the governments of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro, confessed before U.S. justice that the regime illegally financed Gustavo Petro, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Néstor Kirchner, Evo Morales, Podemos, and others using PDVSA funds to export its ideological agenda

⚖️ This information comes as part of his cooperation with U.S. authorities, in which he seeks a reduction in his sentence on charges related to drug trafficking and narco-terrorism.

Extradited to the United States in 2023 after evading justice in Spain for two years, Carvajal pleaded guilty on June 25 before a New York court to four crimes linked to the Cartel of the Suns, a criminal network within the Venezuelan Armed Forces classified as a terrorist organization by Washington.

🚩 According to his statements, the state oil company PDVSA was the main vehicle for channeling funds to political campaigns, aligned media, and ideological projects abroad. In previous testimony before Spanish justice, while detained in Madrid, he stated that “the Venezuelan government has illegally financed leftist political movements around the world for at least 15 years.”

🛠 Among the beneficiaries mentioned by Carvajal are prominent leaders and parties: Néstor Kirchner in Argentina, Evo Morales in Bolivia, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in Brazil, Fernando Lugo in Paraguay, Ollanta Humala in Peru, Manuel Zelaya in Honduras, Gustavo Petro in Colombia, the Five Star Movement in Italy, and Podemos in Spain. “All of them were recipients of money sent by the Venezuelan government,” the former general asserted in his statements.

🇮🇹 One specific case highlighted by Carvajal involves Italy’s Five Star Movement (M5S), founded by Beppe Grillo. According to his testimony, the Chavista regime transferred 3.5 million euros in cash to Gianroberto Casaleggio, the group’s ideologue, via diplomatic pouch. This operation, executed by Tareck El Aissami (then Interior Minister) and approved by Nicolás Maduro as Foreign Minister, was replicated in other countries, including financing for Podemos and the Kirchners.

🇻🇪 Carvajal emphasized that this strategy of international financial support continues under Maduro’s rule, who maintained the practice since his time as Foreign Minister.

🇺🇸 His cooperation with the United States has intensified recently, with the expectation that the documentary evidence provided will lead to a lighter sentence and possibly reduced prison time.
