🇰🇵 Kim Jong-un said that war on the Korean Peninsula could start at any time, and unification between the northern and southern parts of the country is no longer possible.

“We officially declare that if the United States and South Korea try to confront us militarily, our nuclear deterrent forces will respond,” the DPRK leader said.

"Due to the reckless moves of the enemies who are trying to invade us, it is a fait accompli that war on the Korean Peninsula could break out at any time," Kim Jong Un added.

So he ordered his military to prepare to “pacify the entire territory of South Korea” — including using nuclear bombs “in response to any attack.”

In his words, “the relationship between North and South is no longer one of kinship or one of homogeneity, but has completely become a relationship between two hostile countries, two warring parties.”

Reuters recalls that in 2024, South Korea and the United States will face “decisive elections,” which could include aggravation on the Korean Peninsula.
