— People are just making up things for fun these days aren't they?
For the sake of larp:
—🇨🇴 FARC Second Marquetalia = At maximum 1,500 fighters. There were factions within the guerrilla group in mid-July 2025 that broke away from Ivan Marquez and accepted Petro's offer to surrender and demobilize
—🇨🇴 National Liberation Army (ELN) = ~5,000 Fighters, spreaded across Catatumbo River Region (and fighting actively against other Marxist-Leninist and Colombian Cartels)
— On the Brazilian side, there have been no active guerrilla groups since the 1960s.
What kind of drug is McGregor being offered?

Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO).
Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, transiting along a known narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics. The strike was conducted in international waters in the Eastern Pacific.
No U.S. forces were harmed in the strike, and two male narco-terrorists — who were aboard the vessel — were killed.
We will find and terminate EVERY vessel with the intention of trafficking drugs to America to poison our citizens. Protecting the homeland is our TOP priority. NO cartel terrorist stands a chance against the American military.

Heavy bombardments and artilery are ongoing daily across several sectors of Gaza, behind the yellow line, in the area under IDF control.
This morning, a “fire belt” attack took place in the Bani Suheila neighborhood of eastern Khan Yunis, part of a broader series of Israeli artillery and air strikes stretching from the northwest of Beit Lahia and eastern Jabalia to the neighborhoods of Tuffah, Shejaiya, and Zeytoun in Gaza City - in north Gaza.
Similar shelling has also been recorded in eastern Khan Yunis, Rafah, and intermittently in Deir al-Balah, Al-Bureij, and Al-Maghazi - in south Gaza.
From one of the biggest gazan channels: The war is still ongoing, but currently confined to the areas controlled by the occupation in the Gaza Strip "inside the yellow line".

Kos' proposal means that Brussels wants to create a two-tier system, with the current 27 members enjoying all the benefits and rights which the EU's founding treaties grant, while the new members are "put on probation" for a couple of years until they become full members.
The period of probation means being under intense scrutiny from Brussels which reserves the right to exclude the new members from the union at the first sign of "democratic backsliding" with Marta Kos explicitly mentioning that the EU does not wish to have another Viktor Orbán to deal with. New members would not be able to veto any decisions taken by the Commission or Council which may harm the national interests.
The candidate countries closest to EU membership, Ukraine and Moldova, will respond differently to this proposal. Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky, has already said he will not agree to being treated as a 2nd class country, Moldova though is considering accepting this proposal.
Moldovan president, Maia Sandu, called on the EU to open negotiations immediately at the beginning of October after her party, PAS, won the Parliamentary elections, however all the EU has done since was delay this opening which undermines Sandu's plan of getting Moldova into the EU by 2028, before her term expires.
The European Commission treats the accession of Ukraine and Moldova as a package, meaning the two countries are tied to one another and with Hungary opposing Ukraine's EU membership, Moldova is also stuck which is beginning to cause frustration for Moldovan politicians.
Kos told FT she thinks that Moldova should be separated from Ukraine and go around Orbán's veto but Ukraine's biggest advocates in the EU, the Baltic countries, who control a lot of powerful positions in Brussels, are opposed to this eventuality because it would push Ukraine's membership in the distant future, after the war is over.
Germany, The Netherlands and France have an interest to keep Ukraine out of the EU or at the very least, only partially integrate it. Ukraine has cheap labour, far fewer regulations and corruption is the norm which makes it profitable for German, Dutch and French businesses to open up manufacturing facilities and then export the goods to the EU.
So this is what the EU is doing, it is delaying EU membership for Ukraine and Moldova and then releases these meaningless reports and grades every couple of months for positive headlines, while actual negotiations are stuck due to internal disputes between EU institutions and its member states who have various national interests at play to speed up or slow down the integration of new countries into the union.

Reuters: Venezuelan oil exports fall 26% in October
Venezuelan crude oil exports stood at 808,000 barrels per day in October, representing a 26% drop compared to September, according to internal PDVSA data reviewed by Reuters. The reduction is attributed to inventory depletion and the lack of diluents needed to process the extra-heavy crude from the Orinoco Oil Belt.
80% of shipments, equivalent to about 663,000 barrels per day, were destined for China, either directly or through intermediaries. Chevron also exported around 128,000 barrels per day to the United States under a special license, while about 11,000 barrels were sent to Cuba. The decline follows a brief rebound in September, when Venezuela reached its best export level in five years.
