Today, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine met with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and members of her cabinet to reaffirm the strong partnership between the United States and Trinidad and Tobago and discuss shared priorities for regional security and stability.
Gen. Caine and Prime Minister Persad-Bissessar exchanged views on challenges affecting the Caribbean region, including the destabilizing effects of illicit narcotics, arms, and human trafficking, and transnational criminal organization activities. The Chairman emphasized that close cooperation between the United States and Trinidad and Tobago directly contributes to safeguarding regional security.
Gen. Caine expressed appreciation for Trinidad and Tobago’s continued leadership and partnership in advancing mutual objectives and reaffirmed that the United States remains committed to working closely with Trinidad and Tobago to address shared threats and deepen collaboration across the Caribbean.

I don't think Israel is America's biggest problem; I've never thought that, but it's certainly America's most insulting problem.
It's so insulting to be ordered around by a country of nine million people when you're the United States — its only relevance is we promise to protect them; therefore, we're, like, involved in all this crap.
Somehow our Congress and successive White Houses have decided that the only thing that matters is this tiny, irrelevant country.

Pero estoy diciendo que en lugar de hablar así, hablemos con más esperanza porque creo que vamos a llegar a un acuerdo aquí. Y creo que Yuri, el presidente (Trump) me dará mucho espacio y discreción para llegar al acuerdo," dijo Witkoff.

"Now, I know what it's going to take to get a peace agreement: Donetsk and maybe a land swap somewhere. But I'm saying that instead of talking like that, let's talk with more hope because I think we're going to get an agreement here. And I think Yuri, the president (Trump), will give me a lot of room and discretion to get the agreement done," Witkoff said.
